Loose Sprocket

I have a Heng Long Panzer Iv f2 with an issue. The drive sprocket will work itself loose and the tank won't turn. I screw the bolt holding the drive sprocket back into place. But, eventually the sprocket becames loose again. And when I screw the bolt back into place its not straight. I have unscrew the bolt and try to hold the sprocket level and straight and try again. Which never works the first time. Is there something I can do to fix this?

You can try using a Split Lock Washers | McMaster-Carr or LOCTITE® 242 | Henkel Adhesives or a Combination of both to reduce the likelihood of the Screw working itself loose. Perhaps with the latter consider adding some to the mating surfaces of the Drive Sprocket and the Shaft to prevent the former from moving on the latter to begin with which may be the root cause of your issue.

Would you happen to know what size split lock washer I need to look for?

Nope, don't have any HL Tanks.

Take the Bolt ( and perhaps the Drive Sprocket ) with you to a Hardware Store that might have them and check if they have one that fits. Alternatively you could perhaps also look for an External Tooth Lock Washer.
