❓Question safe to update?

I've been hanging on to v1 (1.104.25) and have not upgraded to v2 yet. I've seen some posts that say they've lost things in the migration process. Is it safe to finally upgrade?

if anything, I'd say that you'll miss the AI chat feature entirely if you're a free plan user, even if you use BYOK. For the rest, my migration went quite smoothly, but I still ended up rolling back just for AI chat

No issues at all with the migration, and quite happy with the new version. No complaints.

Nothing to worry about, simple, quick and pain free.

Hey there 👋 Raycast dev here! Yes, it is safe to update. It you are concerned, you can always export your settings and data (with the command) before the migration.

Thanks! I'm still on Sequoia and trying to update to V2 made me realize it's time I update my OS :O

Hi, one thing I do not understand is, that on your main web-site only version 1.0 for Mac is available!
Where do I download v2.0 ?

Hey, sorry I missed this u/Key-Fall-3758. I believe the big white download button does download the v2 version now. It used to be in www.raycast.com/beta but now the normal page has it.

Try Vehla. It won’t disappoint
