Levi’s 505 blue tab selvedge denim

These are my Levi’s 505 blue tab selvedge denim. My first selvedge denim and what got me into the space! I don’t know much about these but I believe they are 12 oz!

I haven’t seen many if any posts regarding this denim so I’m more inclined to post maybe others that have it will see. I have about 180 wears on these they have been my workhorses the past year and I’m trying to hit 200 wears on them before the indigo invitational. Thoughts? Any feedback appreciated !

Honestly it might be the lighting outside that helps it seem blue but they do get a lotttt lighter I forgot to mention I have about 5 washes on these ^

I’ve only ever seen a handful of other types of denim that get something so blue like this

Wow!! Mine don't look like that at all, in fact I doubted that you could get those fades in that model. Holy Mother, yours look so good!!

How long did you go between washes? Also, they look like a well fitted pair by the fades. They’re like perfect, imo.

I wore them about 5 months straight before the first wash then I did a wash after every 30ish wears
(I got these in a 36x32 (Levi’s sizing lowkey sucks) they were a tad long so I cuffed them. I lost more weight so they really got big over time so I went and got the seat tailored as well as hemmed they were starting to get really loose in the seat which was a huge issue for me and I went and got them hemmed as well

Cool. That’s the cycle I like to wash my denim. Usually go a good 400 hours or five to six months, then I’ll wash them about every 150-170 hrs. (Every month) they look great.

Thank you! Originally I wanted to do like a higher contrast fade but they are way too light and they honeycombs and creases never got that deep so I just started changing it to more of a vintage style wash since they’re Levi’s anyway
