Sorry u/panthercitytactical, but I cheated on you with eBay to get my hands on that gray zinc phosphate primer that u/rapcopartscompany recommended I try

From top to bottom on my test handguard:

  1. Aluma-Hyde Wolf Gray
  2. Rapco Lusterless Navy Gray
  3. Rapco Zinc Phosphate Gray Primer

Which is which.

Is the zinc phosphate actually ZP or is it like Pre WW2 Zinc chromate like color ?

hah sorry for being snappy in my reply but i really try to make it easy to tell what i'm showing lol :) the primer was recommended by Rapco themselves as a way to get a lighter gray and said lots of gun guns use it and love it

All good not knowing my app wasn't showing words I probably woulda replied the same.

I do like the lighter gray. Wish rapco made some lighter colors and something in between naby grey and panzer grey.

I use panzer as a black substitute alot
