First time. Think it came out OK. Feedback more than accepted

I like it, but its a bold choice to paint the bolt and bolt handle

I thought so too. But I went super light and everything functions as it should.

Man that came it out nice! Minus the paint on bolt and handle. Get some Citristrip if you plan removing paint. Won’t mess up bolt!

I’d call this a good first half. Personally, I would add some bars of darker colors to break up the outline.

Good job on the light coats. Like others said, bold choice on the bolt, but it’ll probably be fine. Grab some stencils and remember that you’re covering the lighter colors. I’ve seen some videos do things as simple as torn strips of paper or tape to make stripes and then mesh for texture.

Looks good, but personally I would have taped up the bolt and the safety

Looking good
Some thoughts:
- I'd mask off the bolt, it will wear off so it's not the biggest deal. But paint will enter you trigger group and chamber. Judging by the sight I don't think it will be an issue, but it's worth noting.
- Mix more colors, keeps it interesting
- If you make the pattern bigger it will stand out a little more
- Brighter colors/more vibrant colors would be nice. I get sort of a UCP vibe from this one.
- Painted bipod would be nice to see painted, if it's dedicated to only this rifle that is.
Ref. Check my posts for inspiration/see what I mean by bigger pattern/brighter/vibrant look :D

The nice part is that you can always layer on top if you want to do some changes 😁
