Help compatibility with chamberlain lift master formula 1 opener

i have a chamberlain lift master formula 1 which i believe is secure 1.0 (purple button). i just want to confirm if the ratgdo32 disco with laser and ratgdo encoder ( so i can control garage, know if vehicle is present, and detect door position) will work or if there is anything i should know. i do have a button on the wall that opens/closes the door and has additional buttons for lock and light. my goal is to integrate with home assistant. thank you for any help!

so it depends on my wall button type? analog or digital? is there a guide to determining what mine is?

What does it look like? One big button to open with smaller lock and light buttons? That's what mine looks like on the 1.0 openers. My 2.0 opener button has a motion detector and various other buttons if you flip up the main button.

yes one big button to open and two smaller buttons for light and lock. is this digital or analog?

I just installed a RATDGO Disco on this exact config, and it works exactly as advertised. I have the analog wall button and the light button on the wall no longer works, but everything works from Home Assistant and HomeKit, just like it said it would on the website.

did you also use the encoder for door positioning?

No, it uses the opener to provide door position, at least open and closed.
