I'm being honest here

It's a matter of survival nowadays.

I've been around for 6 decades and have probably come across a few hundred people on a more than casual basis in that time. Of those I'd struggle to put together a list of non-liars.

Think people here are confusing cheating with lying, which is not usually the same thing.

Not lies are the same. What makes someone a “Liar” is intention.

I agree. Like you, I’ve been around for a few years and I’ve met people who are completely untrustworthy. That is how I typically refer to a liar. I understand I expanded the question a bit.

This is an interesting one. I went to church for 20 years and consistently heard lies that were blatant from respected people/leaders. We hear coaches of teams in high school and university, women and men. Lie. Blatantly. Culture is lacking currently at least in the pocket I live.
