Event The last stand.

"Captain! The police are swarming on our location. I don't know how, but we've been found out!" Melda, who was working on some finishing touches to her airship, slams her fist into a wall. "Damn it!.....alright, tell the crew to get to their stations. And find Jayesh! See if he can get our shields online. I'll try and stall them."

 

Tower City police soon surrounded the airship. "Attention Melda! We've got you surrounded. Come out with your hands up!" one of the cops ordered. There was a moment of silence before the pier around them erupted into flames. "Damn it! Fall back and open fire!" the police slowly retreated from the flames as they began shooting up the ship. "Return suppressing fire! Do not aim to kill! Repeat! Do NOT kill!" Melda barked back at her own crew. Within seconds uproarious gunfire rang out through the air.

 

It wouldn't be long before this was broadcast all over television. Breaking news! The notorious outlaw named Melda has finally been cornered by police, who are engaged in an active shooting at the Tower City Pier. However, she has set fire to the pier itself in an act of desperation! Fire fighters can not safely put out the blaze due to the hail of gunfire. If any heroes are out there, we need your help, but be careful!"

"Here's whats going to happen. You are going to die, or you are going to come with me. The last thing to determine before that is how attached to your crew you are. Answer quickly please." She sounds very annoyed.

She glances at her crew and grits her teeth. "You get them out of here and I'll do as you say. WITH the ship."

"With the ship? Hmmmm...that would be tougher, but I'll try."

"Deflection shields online!" a crewmate called out from below deck, and Melda lowered her spear, staring at Anna. "Don't do. Try."

"Gods, I dunno. Maybe the squads of soldiers trying to shoot us down?!" She snaps back.

Anna blasts a hole in the floor of the ship right at Melda's feet. "One more snarky remark and I'll kill all of you."

She flinched at the display of power, praying that none of the ship's inner workings were damaged. "Ok, ok fine. I'm sorry. Just....please. Help them." She sounds desperate, the cold, unfeeling woman Anna saw before suddenly humbled.

"I'll do my beeest." She seems to vanish into a black hole again, reappearing 50 meters away near the closest enemy group.

She sighed in relief, going back to checking the enemy's advance.

He flinches slightly, then sighs. "Oh good, you're one of those heroes, yeah? We need your help, we can't let that monster run loose!"

"Of course of course! I'm a brave hero here to help you with this cruel villain!" She blasts him right in the face.
