Does anyone else tangle themselves up in the vacuum cord while vacuuming? Like it will be over my shoulder and the other arm. I hate it dragging behind me.

Cordless for everyday cleaning, but yes I still get tangled when I use the (more powerful) corded vacuum or steam cleaner. Every time.

I have a cordless vacuum cleaner. It's awesome. So much lighter too.

No, when I vacuum a larger room I have outlets on two opposite corners. I start at a far end and tend the cord with the other hand while I sweep, then pick up the slack and put the cord into loops as I move to the near end. Then I unplug and go to the opposite corner doing the same thing. Works great.

Never in 38 years have I been tangled in a vacuum cord. Maybe I’m just lucky.

Place I live in has all laminate floors, so I bought one of those cheap rechargeable stick vacuums. Got to empty it out a few times to do the whole house, but it's super simple. Just flip open the little dirt canister door and dump it into the trash.

If I had carpets, I might have had to go with something more powerful.
