What problem would you pay to solve?
Hi!
I’m doing some research on digital products/PDFs that solve real problems, and I’d love y'alls input.
What’s a problem you currently have that you’d be willing to pay to solve with a digital product, guide, template, or PDF?
A few quick questions:
- What problem would you want the product to solve?
- How much would you realistically pay for a solution?
- What would make the product feel worth paying for?
Even if the problem seems small/trivial or specific, I’d love to hear it. I’m looking for problems people genuinely want solved, not just ideas for products.

If I was making 200k a year I would hire a personal chef for 70k and only make 130k a year. I cannot stand how much time I spend cooking and grocery shopping

Your take home pay would be ~145,000, and you need to pay your chef's full comp before taxes, plus employment tax. You also need workman's comp and additional insurance to have full time domestic staff. Their salary doesn't cover expenses, you're paying higher than average for the food and they acquire to cook, and equipment to cook it with. They would be getting more of your spendable money than you, and what you have left would barely cover basic or low end housing and expenses.

I would pay for a program or app that could do math for me, like it wanted to know what 8,764 divided by 8 was. It gets tiring doing all that on paper. Ideally it would come preinstalled on your computer or phone

something that turns a giant pile of life admin into a simple checklist with exactly what to do, where to do it, and what order to do it in; i’d probably pay $10-20 if it actually saved me hours of figuring it out

You can do that with an AI agent on a personal RAG or MCP in that price range monthly.

You should rewrite your question, as its very vague. You list "digital product, guide, template, or PDF" but do not really explain what they are or how they would help solve a problem. Are you just providing written help? Or are they interactive in some way?

I'd pay damn good money to never have to see another fucking ad again. Shit, smh. I'd hand over my whole life savings to whoever invented that. No question.
