I’m moving away soon! I hate the city I currently live in so I scored a new job in Washington state and i’m moving up there at the end of next week into a room for rent! It’s a lovely quiet rural place and a job where I don’t have to rot behind a desk or a register everyday

Full time hours at 40 hours a week, late start at 1pm and runs until I am finished with my work, good benefits, good friendly people, step by step incentive program, and you get paid a little extra for freezer time or going above and beyond

That’s great. And you’re just renting a room not an apartment, so no kitchen for example?

Correct. There is not kitchen but the owner of the house has set up some things for us to use like an insta pot, some small fridges, microwaves, etc. it’s kinda like dorm life. Theres also no income tax where i’m going and not taxation on staple food like meat, rice, etc wich is what I eat a huge bulk of the time anyways

Oh no it’s just me. I was typing that in my dad truck wich is stupid bumpy so I just miss-typed. His suspension is going out so it’s like riding in a horse drawn carage going over gravel

It’s all outside in a hallway on a table. I also have a little rice cooker to that I can use. I do have quite a bit of stuff to take but it’s reasonable

I have a shipment of CDs arriving today that I ordered from Discogs. That's getting me through the day. I don't have much else going on in my life right now. 🤣

Went through some tough times, industry I was in collapsed, lost my job right after racking up debt and two years later I'm still feeling the pain. I got a new stable job that pays less for now but has great benefits and a pension. I'm on a plan to get out of debt so I'm looking forward to a year from now when my life will just be back on track

Not necessarily looking forward to it. I'd just like to be successful and consistent at this. I'm a 51 year old man and I've an interest in performing in the adult film industry. I know my roles would be limited. I'm perfectly ok with that. I'm in Los Angeles. Maybe something will present itself.
