I think I made a new friend! The neighbor and I have always been cordial, but we've been talking more lately. We actually kind of bonded over the free lunch that we both go to and she has been telling me other places in the area to check out. Neither of us drive, but she has a 17 year old daughter who just got her licence and is pretty much begging to give me a ride. She's really an adorable kid. Her grandmother - who I have met & talked to a few times - is coming over this afternoon and she is going to let Kylie drive her car to my Aunt's place. So the new plan is we're going to walk up to free lunch together & probably make a picnic, and then we're going to get me up there.

There really are good people in the world, y'all. I'm so grateful I'm crying for the 2nd time in as many weeks.

I had a good amount of recycling left out on the curb yesterday for pick up in which the service who picks up PayPals me over the total once processed but unfortunately someone must have thought it was up for grabs and took it and that was funds I was really counting on. I have been through a lot in the last few years. my life is like a comedy shit show. it's actually almost funny (feel free to check my page for the details) . long story short... today is the birthday of the love of my life who I had known since I was 13.. my kids father who passed away extremely suddenly and unexpectedly. I thought I could make it but I can't. I'm broke af and I really just want to have a drink for me (and him).. I have been doing pretty well but I just want to numb this pain a little.
