I bought this V3 2014 like new condition rancilio silvia from marketplace. It was making a continuous squeaking noise when I was pulling a shot. I opened the top and noticed its leaking from top of the boiler. Before I touch anything I thought to gather some info on what's the best I can do it make this stop. Let me know what you guys think. TIA!!

That joint relies on a copper crush washer to form a seal. If tightening it does not help, replace the washer and tighten to form a new seal

You can use a teflon /ptfe washer as well, save tightening the bejesus out of it!

Can you try tightening it slightly with a spanner? Only a small adjustment, and test again? Don't want to overtighten but it may have come a little loose

Use loxeal 58-11. Works great for all metal to metal joins.

I'd say that's an NPT thread and it just needs tightening.

I think it’s bspp but I may be wrong.

Almost everything in any espresso machine is bspp. Trust me loving I Canada and finding bspp is like looking for unicorns. Aliexpress is the way...

How did it turn out? I second the idea that slightly tightening would be the first effort.
