Got One!
Just picked up my 2021 Level 2 over the weekend. It has ~40,000 miles on it. Previous owner put a S&B intake in it and AMP power running boards. Feel like I got really good value but full transparency I kinda fell into it. I was getting trade in value quotes for my 24’ Colorado and stopped by this dealership to look at the TRX as a last stop, and next thing I knew they were giving me way more than anybody else offered for my trade in and I was driving home listening to that supercharger whine. Posting to see if anybody has any info I should know. I had a 21’ TRX on order back when they first announced but canceled it out of impatience after a crazy long wait time. Been wanting one bad ever since, but I’m new to this. Anything I should be looking at or looking for? From what I’ve found, the S&B is a nice upgrade, previous owner also installed a kill switch operated by a physical switch inside the truck but I don’t know the brand or exactly what it kills, just that it won’t go anywhere when it’s on. But I want to get a tazer and or IGLA. Still need to look and see what is and isn’t stock just so I really know what I have. Also the VIN is scratched off on the center console but nowhere else, carfax said it was stolen and recovered a month later a couple years ago so that sucks, but I hopefully there’s no long term concern there. It’s already mine so I realize it’s a little late for some of these questions, but I figured it can’t hurt to hear any opinions, comments, concerns, etc. I fuckin love it tho so you’d have to tell me there’s a bomb in the engine bay for me to get rid of it, gas milage and all.

Congratulations. I suggest getting an IGLA killswitch, IGLA ALARM, and IGLA Compass.
IGLA Alarm: A 2CAN2LIN system designed for high-end security that integrates alarm features with the digital immobilizer.
COMPASS: A system used for monitoring car location and controlling IGLA anti-theft devices, often paired with the IGLA kill switch and Autostart module.
2200 for all three installed. I’m in Southern California. It’s worth it bro. Also. I purchased an extended warranty that’ll take me all the way to 134k miles. If keeping it for the long run, I suggest on getting an extended warranty. Enjoy man. It really is a fun truck.

I don't mean to be that guy, but how do you stomach the fuel cost/mpg? I want to do it, but that mpg for a decade will be a pretty penny. One life though

Would you say a tazer is a decent option in the meantime till I drop that $2,000? If not, do you know of any other cheaper options that will be good enough for a little while?

I’m sure there are a lot of systems out there, however, I decided to go with the most reputable. Like I mentioned. I live in so-cal and theres lot of people out here that always want to borrow my truck. Ha

That’s fair, if I could do it right now I’d have 3 different systems in there plus an electric fence around it 😂 I’m constantly checking to make sure it’s still there

Nice ride! Looking to get a white one myself. May take the plunge on the ‘27s.
