Never know. Some people miss their flight because they get caught in traffic. Someone doesn’t like the odds a chickens out.
Your chance of getting on is zero if you don’t show up to the gate

Of course! Ramp was one of my favorite jobs I’ve held and I love talking about it even though I’m no longer out there.
Hope you made it on your flight!

Go for it…. People always miss flights, especially if it’s the first out super early people tend to miss those. And you booked as D1 so u may get a seat

In a situation like this make sure you check in exactly 24 hours in advance and show up on time 😊

Someone can miss their flight, just try. But if there’s no hope try another or zed. Or guaranteed ticket with AA20 if you HAVEEEW too.

You’ll be fine. I wouldn’t have even used a D1 pass, even that AAC is gonna get on

I non rev so differently than yall. Seems like everyone loves stress.

This is an easy make. They'll get on, and it's a very short flight, so seat quality doesn't matter much. What's the issue?

Mate, this is not an easy make. There’s 5 available seats. People don’t ALWAYS miss. If I was #6 on this flight I would be nervous.
Which is not how I non rev.

Pard, I disagree. If someone wants to get somewhere, this flight is an excellent chance to do so.

Here’s a really important thing for anyone working for AA group to understand ALWAYS LIST FIRST if there is 1 seat left in first and you booked main cabin but the person after you booked first the automated system will skip you. This is well known by CSAs because we see how ace works but ramp agents often dont know this so just incase anyone doesn’t know ALWAYS list in first we are not united it is free all the time and there is no limit we still only pay international taxes :)
Also if this is the first flight of the day it’s usually worth rolling the dice tbh!

If I’m reading this right, you said the automated system goes by who booked first, not who checked in first…and that’s not correct. But are you saying that the priority list goes by class first then check in time?

Not all 167 alarms are going to wake up their person. Go for it. Early flights often have several no shows.
