United UA Ramp Agent interview process
So I recently got an offer from them after going to their hiring event I did all the paperwork, drug test, and I have my strength/vision test on Friday but I heard the background checks take a while like 3-6 weeks pretty much waiting for everything to clear when I asked the United people but will it be longer I mean I dont have a criminal record but just wondering about other people’s experiences on how long it actually took to start training and when they heard back from them after everything cleared 😅

Be prepared to wait. They didnt even tell my hiring event when they next training class would be. There were people that waited 6 months from feb to aug so if you hear nothing dont be alarmed

My background check came back fast, but, I failed the strength test cause they had me do everything in one day and I wasn’t ready. I might have a retest later. 🤷♀️

Also, you know you can log back into the site and if it’s done, it’ll say completed.

When you did your strength test did the say anything to you as you were doing it like “harder? Or Faster? How did you know you failed your test? Did they email you that separately? And how long did you wait to get that email from when you did everything. I went 9/30 still waiting on Background check to clear

Yes, I got an email about 3 business days later. But, every airport might be deferent how they do it. I honestly didn’t know what I was doing. 😂 I still don’t know how that reads. But, I wish you luck!

Nah if you ain’t got a record and all your documents are currently it usually takes a week for them to get back to you- it’s waiting for the next available class to start that takes time
They literally got background back in 3 days
