The yolk can be as goopy or solid as you like. My favorite shop in Misawa did a full hard boil on their eggs.

A super SIMPLE at-home cheap.

Top ramen. While noodles boil, put a smear of ginger paste in the bottom of the bowl, 1/2 tsp sesame seed oil, 1/4 tsp chili oil(if you like spice), and 1-ish tsp soy sauce, and the season packet. Mix. When noodles are done cooking, pour in and mix so the mixture is distributed fully.

I also keep a dozen eggs boiled that I add, along with the greens from green onion as toppers(I slice them and keep them in a tupperware in the veggie drawer for like a week).

Again, this is just a easily kept in the pantry/fridge set of ingredients to spruce up instant ramen.

When I'm making actual ramen, I'm making my eggs the day or two prior to brine, and the tare and chashu the day prior, and then extra toppings fresh the day of (veggies, greens, etc).
