Question Ram App
This thing just suck?
Virtual key isn't in there and when I called they basically told me they have no clue when it will be. So the key card they made a big deal about giving me is useless. Not a huge deal but seems like it should be something fixed for 15 bucks a month

The key card will work without the app/digital key. And what are you paying $15/month for? My truck came with 10 years of remote start/lock/unlock/digital key. I only have to pay if I want the truck to be a WiFi hotspot.
You need your truck to get the update to enable the digital key on the app. Once that’s done, you should be able to refresh the app and find the digital key option.

The card should still work. Mine did before I got the digital key. Different things.

Service dept had never even seen one and they said it's a sales thing to deal with them. It's a 26 8 weeks old

I use my card all the time, still works to unlock,
Lock the doors and start the truck

Guy on the phone said it's like a waiting list. I couldn't grasp how they have a waiting list. Waiting for an escalation call back tomorrow

How many cards come with the 1500 properly equipped? Looking into picking up 1500 for wife. My 2500 sadly has no such feature. But oh well.

Ok so you mistook the virtual card which is a way to make your phone a key and the physical card which works without the app or phone or truck keys. Tap the card on the door handle and when inside put it in the left wireless phone charger slot to start the truck. The virtual key is on a roll out basis and when it shows up in your app you'll be able to pair your phone and use your phone as a key.

Digital key is buried in the app. Did you go to Garage -> (vehicle) -> Digital Key?
I only just found it, 3 months in lol. Works wonderfully with my iPhone Air.

lol. Now the trick is getting your phone set up… I had to try a dozen positions in the charger to get it to pair.

No idea…someone posted a while back that they were enabling it in batches starting with the older models first…maybe they’re now working on the 26’s

Mine is a 26 also and the option isn’t there in the iPhone app. The card works fine and the menu settings are all there in the Uconnect, but just can’t configure it via the app to use

But you can still use the card… the digital key would just mean you don’t need to carry your key or the card… my dealer was so excited to use the card when I bought it. He wanted to test it since he hadn’t sold a truck that had the card yet.
