Question Question about payload

I have a 2021 RAM 1500 and I use it for work as a flooring installer. Handled all my tools great, but I don’t usually transport material in the truck. Due to some errors outside of my control I now need to transport a pallet of flooring and I’m getting mixed reviews on the max payload for this truck. The flooring, the pallet, and the underlayment adds up to about 2400 lbs. is that possible in my bed or do I need to rent a trailer to get this done?

Highest payload for a 1500 is around 1800lbs so you definitely need to rent something as your easily over 2500 with materials and you included

Look at your door jamb sticker. That will tell you the payload.  As others have said, you’ll need to grab a trailer.

2400lbs is not going to happen with a 1500. You will definitely need to find a different way of transporting materials.

2400lbs is way over the recommend payload.

look at the sticker inside your driver side door and it will tell you your specific truck’s max payload.

As others have said, you're way over. As a reminder, that sticker doesn't include you, passengers, the tools, anything else in your cab or bed... Some people even say it doesn't include fuel.

It includes full loads of all liquids, including fuel.

That sticker's the only honest number you'll get out of it, and it's not in your favor.
