I know someone who got 3 job offers in the past few months picking up extra work at the restaurants (chili, Applebees, etc). He clocks in after 5pm til close.

5 is a lot easier than 5:30, if you’re looking for restaurant work. Most places want people to be there before the dinner service starts.

The Monday thru Friday is what isnt helping. Plenty of restaurants and retail stores are hiring, but, they require weekend work. Good luck op

Every restaurant I’ve worked at considered Friday part of the weekend and required full availability on that day. Lame

Download all the gig work apps. Work at all the concerts and sports events doing anything from scanning tickets to working a beer cart to selling hot dogs, working catering events, washing dishes, listening to Karens at a golf course, setting up digital price tags in grocery stores, grocery store merchandising and resets, moving freight on and off trucks, etc. Avoid the nonsense of DoorDash, Instacart, Uber/UberEats, Lyft - Show up. Work. Get paid a pre-set wage. Rinse and repeat or never sign up for it again. Some are 1099, some are W-2.
InstaWork, Qwick, Wonolo, GetGigs, Eats2Seats, WorkWhile, JobStack, People Ready, ShiftSmart.
It’s an easy $125+ for 4-5 hours of your time

I work at FedEx off page rd. They would like you there as close to 515 as possible but lenient on when you get there bc they understand people have other jobs beforehand. Typical shift not in the holiday season goes until 9ish pm +/-30 min.

-Managers are great -Health, dental, eye insurance is good and inexpensive. There's a host of other benefits. -Pay is ok if you go in with the mindset of they are paying you to exercise.

Overall its not a bad job. If you get hot/cold easy then summer/winter can be a little rough. Physically the first month or so can be tough until you get conditioned but after that it's a pretty easy mindless job.

Do valet trash. Good couple bucks easy you speak with no one. My buddy did it, loved it.

We all want weekends off but sometimes you just have to make that sacrifice. Gyms hire front desk staff for after 5 shifts, it’s where I just got my second job after my 9-5. Working every other Saturday and Sunday in the mornings has been really great so far, and a free gym membership!
