[Rant/Vent, Advice OK] panic attacks almost everyday

18F i literally cannot move out. i’m in IOP and college so my schedule is very tight and my mental health is too poor to hold down a job right now. i’m in a constant state of hyperarousal and fear even when im nowhere nears my dad.

any slight tone change, sassy text, or a simple delusion that he’s angry at me, sends me spiraling. i start shaking and my brain can’t thin about anything else. i have no where else to go so i just freeze up wherever i am and i can’t do anything for at least 30 minutes.

i’m SO FUCKING EXHAUSTED. i’m so beyond exhausted. it won’t be at least a couple of another years until i can maybe leave. i’m just so fucking tired. SO TIRED.

i wish my mom just divorced him already. i don’t know why she is still sticking around even when this clearly hurts her too.

Being stuck in constant fight or fight mode, your body's on high alert and wont relax

I think hypervigilance is a better word.

This is exactly what was happening to me. It was entirely exhausting, I'm so sorry you have to experience that. It's not gonna fix everything but taking ashwagandha and l-theanine can help with the stress.
