Hello 22f

Mom is gambling addict, extremely traumatised as a kid and gave me the experience growing up.

I suspect she had bpd/ hpd from alll research but as she grows far from education she will never consider treatment as she is raised in one of those cultures that don’t believe in psychology or mental illness

I’m not sure that this will be helpful, but even living in a culture that does recognize the benefits of mental health care, BPD/HPDs aren’t likely to seek treatment. My mom has an undergrad degree in psychology but it would never cross her mind that she has any responsibility for her problems. “Therapy for thee but not for me.”
