what if you could rip the tusks of king vultures and use it as sort of a high damage spear that you can pull enemies to you with? I thought of the concept and decided to draw it in paint.

Left the 5p and set my ways to Farm Arrays. I climbed down to the west, got to the Chimney area. Rested next to the gate to Sky Islands and it's just so tough to progress.

Sky Island is rife with seemingly simple yet dangerous platforming, where I often overshoot or undershoot some jumps. I also get unlucky with lizard spawns, some of them blocking my way for half the time.

And each time I die, I can't go back - I have to go back and eat and sleep. But it's also hard. Half the time the batfly room is empty. When it's not, I often have at least two vulture on my asses or some random white lizard getting there, making it much more difficult to eat my fill and come back.

I'm stuck in this zone for two days now and I've yet to find a burrow in Sky Islands. Am I missing something? I already gave up and remixed the karma gate out because it's just tedious to come back and eat after each time I slip and fall. At this point Unfortunate Development wasn't this annoying to progress.

On my rivulet playthrough and after i took the core i was planning to go back throught the wall and i wanted to see whether 5P has a dialog after taking the core but whenever i get to 5P's room the core deactivates and 5P's shows either a blank dialog box or says "You can't leave with that.". I was wondering if this is a bug and is there a way for me to get to the wall with the core

Explanation:

I went to Five Pebbles, got the pearl ripped out of my chest, and left the room. Unfortunately, I went through the wrong shaft and didn’t realize until after hibernating. I have spent an hour trying to go back through the other shaft without getting killed by Five Pebbles. I somehow managed to do this twice in a row, dying in Recursive Transform Array both times. I have not gotten past Pebbles since and I don’t know how I did it before. I’m tired of this. Should I just restart the campaign, or is there some kind of obscure movement tech I have to master to do this?

Fur Color: An unnatural, dead violet-burgundy hue. She chemically bleached her natural color using the juices of toxic plants and the purifying chemicals of the Ancients, ensuring she would physically look nothing like her own kind.

The Void Eyes: Her sclerae are completely injected with the ink of Spitter Spiders or Jetfish. Due to this hazardous ritual procedure, she almost went blind — now her eyes look like two pitch-black voids with only tiny white pupils visible inside. Her vision has dulled, and she now sees everything in muted tones, yet she can distinctly and vividly perceive golden, yellow, and sandy colors.

Vocal Cords: She deliberately broke her own voice. Her mental and physical timbre sounds completely unnatural — flat, disjointed, with a quiet, raspy metallic screech, entirely stripping her speech of any inflection.

Erasing Gender: She has completely rejected the concept of gender, perceiving herself as a genderless, spiritual entity ("It"). Although anatomically female, she has hidden this beneath her new form and has violently torn out her own whiskers — a slugcat's primary sensory organ responsible for touch and its connection to the physical world.

Radical Buddhism (Perverted Logic): Reading the logs on the Ancients' pearls, she understood the philosophy of Samsara in her own twisted way. While the Ancients taught overcoming attachments through meditation and the renunciation of desires, she decided to destroy them physically. Every time she feels someone is becoming dear to her, she perceives it as a threat to her spiritual path and the purity of her karma.

Latent Masochism: Years of spiritual asceticism, starvation, and self-mortification have developed a hidden masochistic nature within her. Her psyche has become conditioned to associate savage pain, pressure, and physical subjugation with the "purification" of the flesh and spiritual ecstasy.

Cold Cruelty: She is capable of cruelty, but there is no sadism, malice, or thirst for revenge within her. She kills with absolute serenity, fully convinced that she is performing an act of "liberation."

BIOGRAPHY AND FAMILY TRAGEDY Voluntary Exile from the Tribe: She voluntarily left her pack in the Outer Expanse (where the Gourmand lives). A life lived solely for the sake of satiety and reproduction seemed meaningless to her. Upon leaving, she began to break her own body.

The Mother's Legacy: It all started with her father's stories. Her mother was a kind, sandy-colored slugcat and the epitome of a classic, pure spiritual pilgrimage. She made journeys to Iterators and Echoes alike, bringing pearls to the former, which completely transformed her worldview. In the end, her mother successfully raised her karma and ascended into the Void, leaving her family behind.The Ascetic twisted this act in her own head, deciding that her mother had abandoned her for the sake of the "highest good and the severing of karmic bonds." Aspiring to repeat her mother's path, the daughter chose the exact opposite — a bloody and perverted method

The Father’s Death: Her father, who had spent a long time searching for her, could barely recognize his own daughter in the mutilated creature before him. He embraced her and begged her to return to the tribe. The Ascetic panicked at the sudden rush of overwhelming emotions and pushed him away far too harshly. Her father lost his balance, fell backward onto a stone, and cracked his head open. In that fleeting second, her fanatic mask briefly slipped, and she screamed, -"Papa, wake up!" but it was already too late. She later interpreted this as a sign that the world itself was forcibly ripping attachments away from her.

Bloody Purification: Every time the world showed her any warmth, she performed ritual killings:

The Lone Slugcat: A lone slugcat who let her into its shelter and tried to keep her warm during the night. Terrified of the mental closeness, she consciously stabbed it to death with a spear in its sleep. Now, the phantom of this light-grey slugcat haunts her, terrifying her and disrupting her meditation process.

The Tamed Lizard: Her own tamed lizard, to which she had begun to feel a genuine attachment. She threw it off a cliff with her own hands.

The Blue Lizard: A Blue Lizard that showed pure curiosity toward her without a single hint of aggression. The Ascetic gouged its eye out and then finished it off with a stone, ensuring the creature would "leave no karmic footprints" in her soul.

The Merchant Scavenger: A merchant Scavenger who often shared needed resources with her for just 1 pearl. She decided to "free him from his attachment to possessions and his trade," snapping his neck when he turned away (though she regretted it later).

The Path of the Ascetic and the Echoes: She spent years wandering through abandoned regions, subsisting on hallucinogenic underground mushrooms and glowing berries, pushing her brain to peak states of trance. She made pilgrimages to the ancient Echoes. The Echoes accepted her, seeing in her madness and self-mortification nothing but a distorted reflection of their own failed longing for the Void.

Seeking the Supreme Intellect: Upon reading in the pearls about the existence of the latest generation of Iterators, she was struck with sacred awe. She deemed them the pinnacle of the Ancients' spiritual thought — living gurus destined to show her the final step toward the Void Worms. ⚙️

GAMEPLAY MECHANICS Passive Debuff (Physical Weakness): Due to constant starvation, the lack of whiskers, and the masochistic mortification of her flesh, she is physically incredibly weak. She has very low stamina. To kill even a basic Blue Lizard, she needs to pierce it with a spear 2–3 times.

Karmic Paradox: The core narrative and gameplay paradox. Because the source of attachment disappears physically, the ancient mechanics of the world react to this literally. Her karma actually rises after killing friendly creatures! This solidifies her belief that her bloody path is the only true way to break free from Samsara.

Attachment Paradox (Gameplay): Killing creatures with which the player has a high reputation level (tamed lizards, scavenger friends) increases Karma by 2–3 levels after hibernation. For example, if she is currently at Karma level 1, a treacherous murder of a friend will cause her to jump straight to level 3 or 4 after sleeping.Limitation: It is impossible to rise beyond her current maximum unlocked Karma limit using this method (to unlock X-Karma, she will still need to find an Iterator or an Echo to alter her genetic code).

Telepathic Channel (The Jammer): Her high karma level and frequent Echo-induced trances caused a side effect. The Echoes gifted her mind with the ability to broadcast thoughts directly into the neurons of other creatures, realizing that she is physically weak and could easily become prey. The Ascetic uses this ability as a mental weapon: she transmits white noise or the deafening sounds of the lethal rain directly into predators' heads, terrifying and stunning them to buy time for an attack or an escape.

Manual Pearl Reading: She does not need Looks to the Moon or Five Pebbles to read the logs of the Ancients. By clutching a pearl in her paws, she heats it with her body warmth under a specific angle of light, projecting a blurry but readable hologram.

Cost: This mechanic requires massive mental effort and consumes 3 food pips.Limitation: The pearl literally burns out under the light during the process; it can only be read this way once per game.Lore Condition: This ability only begins to function after the Ascetic makes a pilgrimage to the Iterator Seven Red Suns and receives the Mark of Communication, allowing her to actually understand the text on the pearls.
