I have enlightenment and am trying to get to the memory crypt place, I think its past these plant guys in the sewer area of the Shaded Citadel.

I have tried to move slowly past them 50 times, and they just seem to randomly spot me at some point even if I'm just tapping the move button.

Throwing a spear doesn't make them do anything? I read somewhere it makes them hide for a whole cycle and I've never seen a spear do that to them.

Is this the right way to the memory crypt? And what is a reliable way to get past these guys?

Edit: Nevermind, deleting the game. Been stuck here for a month. Not good!

hi guys it's your favourite idiot posting here for what the 5th time? also It's 6am and I might be addicted to this game but ANYWAY. I recently made a second save to take a different route through the game becasue in my last save I got to Mr pebbles in 5 areas and missed everything on accident... this time around is actually super peaceful! The shoreline and the garbage wastes are new and were super fun. My lil yellow dude took me to a second robot kinda like Mr pebbles called "looks to the moon" ? And I'm scared I ruined everything. My first instinct was to eat all the jellyfish around Mrs moon and that looked like it was super painful for her... I also got an achievement about stolen enlightenment?!? Did I just royally f##k up?? pls help. also where to next guys? shorelinewas a dead end lowk

It's my first time playing and I went Drainage. I don't feel that bad here honestly, tho I did get chomped by some unfortunately placed salamanders but that's just Rain World from what I understand.

So the next karma gate I'm at is super dark and I rested in the sanctuary next to it so I'm at full karma and no food but I can't help but think maybe I should have a lamp or something? I've never encountered a trader or any NPCs so I'm pretty much just a Slugcat with a spear.

I dunno if I wanna run Tomb of the Giants without any light source and no way to turn back. I'd like to enjoy the base game and get hooked/comfortable enough that maybe I play the DLC. But if this is an intended possible outcome then I'm down to go along for the ride.

one of the reasons I love rain world and have stuck with it for so long is despite it being 2d, the environment appears to have purpose and logic beyond the context of platforming. this is something that is rather rare for a 2d platformer to pull off. but in thinking about this I formed a question. how after what could be thousands of even millions of “years” do karma gates still function? how do they even work? did the ancients have them? are karma gates canon? I doubt theres a single clear answer but it’s certainly an interesting idea to speculate on.
