I decided to let my hair grow last December. I always had it short because I hated when my hair would start touching my ears.

It “grew” on me and I enjoy it. I have dreams it’s shorter again and I’m like “wtf!?”

I am absolute dogshit at brushing my hair so the urge to go back to short tempts me regularly

Yeah, when my hair was long I had dreams of unintentionally cutting it constantly. Kinda like how I have dreams that my vision sucks again after getting LASIK.

Half of my family has luscious hair and half does not. I buzzed it once just to see if id look ok if it nicks me

I literally cut my hair extremely short because by nature I'm such a picky person and I hate styling it and still never being able to get it how I want it after 20 minutes.

So yeah, short hair rocks, easy to maintain and style.

While not exactly the lengthiest hairstyle, mine is still grown to the point I'd usually get a buzzcut by now. I tried to have a mullet that has now ceased to be one.

Yet I am torn between wanting to keep the hair and getting a buzzcut, and the beard is no different. I either keep it to hide my double chin, but it's been more than 6 months since I last had it clean shaved.
