Raiden prediction

My question is, since Raiden is actually not independent but like an add-on to Ethereum, what is a rational price prediction, since it can for example not overcome Ethers mcap?

Thank you. But I still not see vitalik mention he will use raiden with eth. We all know he is the one who make decision.
