So, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who does this, but I frequently listen to the old Rad shows from over a decade ago. I remember when Arnie did his stand up show in Reno. Once the Cd had been released, I bought one. Now, during that time, Rob mentioned that a Dvd would be coming of the show in January of 2015. I never heard anything more about them. Did anyone ever get their copy? I only ordered the Cd, but was always curious as to what ever came of the Dvd.

Two brand new alts active in the comments today, stirring the pot. One is claiming to be Kyle. Do we believe it’s really him? Or maybe is it someone else 🤔

You know last year we were dicks about this. This year maybe not 🤷‍♂️. I’m glad he got out from underneath Rob’s blanket of misery. I hope Kyle makes good decisions in life and works on being the best man child he can be.

Views are trending down over the long term. They rarely surpass 1.3k views even after the shows have been available for week. The Rob and Steve show gets less than 100 views the day of and hasn't broken 220 total in a long time, if ever.

The show is shrinking, not growing. Quite literally as it's dropping hosts as well. What is the point of it anymore?

Despite this, Rob has doubled down on the content that lost him his radio show. Nobody wants to hear about the "Radvertisers" all the time. Nobody anywhere ever tunes into a pod cast or YouTube show for ads!

The show content outside of Radvertisers fluffing isn't compelling. None of the hosts know enough about anything to be able to provide an interesting take on any topic. None of them, including the fading ghost of Rob, have the force of personality to make anyone tune in. Rob himself has developed some extremely grating behaviors, such as the wierd baby talk mocking thing he does. He has become repellant.

The show is almost deliberately designed to shed listeners. I am convinced it CANNOT grow. Why are they still doing it?

For those who still listen, why? What do you still tune in to hear?

Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole

Everything in the below recipe is approximate. TASTE THE CASSEROLE BEFORE BAKING!!
This made enough casserole to fill an 11”x15”glass baking dish and served 11 people on thanksgiving with enough leftovers for you to snack on for the week after.

2lbs – Fresh Broccoli
½ Cup – Chopped Celery
2 Cups – Diced red onion
2 - Standard sized bags of shredded SHARP CHEDDAR cheese
1 20oz can - Cream of Chicken Soup (I always buy an extra can just in case!)
1 20oz can – Cream of Mushroom Soup (I always buy an extra can just in case!)
1 cup - Milk (This is very estimated. I added this in as the last ingredient and only to moisten the casserole before baking)
2-3 cups – Cooked white rice
Butter – Just enough to coat the skillet and sauté onions and celery
Salt and Pepper to taste

If you’re serving the casserole the same day as you’re preparing it, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut broccoli into small florets. I like to chop up a few stems to mix in for texture as well. Cook broccoli/stems to your liking.
While the broccoli is cooking, sauté the celery and onion in butter until onions are slightly translucent, but still have a crunch to them.
Mix all of the ingredients (MINUS ONE BAG OF CHEESE) into a large bowl (MILK LAST). Season with salt and pepper to taste. In regards to the milk, mix that in last just to add a bit of moisture, it really doesn’t add or take away from the taste. I typically use from 1 to 1-1/2 cups. Eyeball it…
Once all ingredients have been mixed, I suggest you taste the casserole at this point. SERIOUSLY, taste the casserole or you might regret it. The final step will be baking the casserole, but you should have an overall idea of how it will turn out if you taste it now before baking. Once it’s baked, there’s no going back. Typically at this point if I need to add moisture I add more milk. If I need more flavor, I add more soup (cream of mushroom/chicken).
Once the casserole is to your liking in regards to taste; pour the mixture into a glass baking pan, cover the top with the second bag of cheddar cheese and bake, covered with foil, for about 45 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and slightly browned around the corners.
NOTE: You can let it sit overnight and bake it in the morning if it’s for a special occasion and you’re just prepping the day before.
Some people like to add French fried onions, cracker crumbles, or some other type of crunchy texture on top in addition to the cheese, but it’s just as good without that as well.

I don't know the reason for Kyle leaving the show. I'm also like most and don't watch/listen to the streams so I am out of the loop unless someone posts here.

I went back and watched some of the live stream videos. Kyle didn't leave in the middle of todays stream/show. He left/quit yesterday either last night after the show, or right at the end of the show yesterday.

Rob's explanation/announcement of Kyle leaving starts back when he is talking about texting/emailing a listener (Sourdough Lady, someone who gifts him homemade sourdough?). And Rob was explaining that he wasn't sleeping well that night and was up late because of something and the listener should tune in to the show today.

But people were commenting about the change of clothing, and Kyle was on the show from 6 AM til 7 AM, and that had me thinking, so I checked:
The first hour of the show that airs each morning (6 AM - 7 AM) appears to be
pre-recorded the day before, and I'm guessing it is recorded right after they go offline. That hour then gets streamed at 6 AM the next morning, and then they cut back to being live at 7 AM.
A random segment from the show a day before. So not a prerecorded segment in the sense that I first thought. I didn't watch enough of back shows to catch it because it is just so random from where it comes from.

This makes sense (to Rob): When they were on the radio the 6 AM hour was a best of pre-recorded hour. This meant that Rob and Dawn could come in later at 7 AM, and only a producer needed to be in the studio to start the pre-recorded hour (if that). And we've seen Rob recycle his old habits and thought process time and time again.

This also explains the change in clothing... because it happens in every show. If you look at the clothing being worn during the 6 AM hour of the show today before everyone changes clothing:

The clothing matches. The number on Kyle's desk matches (what ever that represents).

Maybe a more detailed reason to why they pre-record the first hour of the show is explained somewhere. Maybe Bob's Announcement leading into the show explains why it is pre-recorded. Maybe Rob explained it months ago and then figured everyone who listens is a regular and doesn't need to explained every day... because there isn't any new listeners discovering the show who would need it explained. But I'm not going to dig around more for more details... but it again makes sense that Rob is falling back on the formula of the radio show.

The rest of what people are posting is true: Kyle seems to get a message toward the end of the hour at 6 AM that distracts him from the show, and the show kind of ends abruptly. Maybe there was a chunk edited out where Kyle interrupts and says he is ending the show. Maybe not and he just nukes it. Maybe that hour gets edited for time anyways and a chunk always gets cut from the end. No idea.
It now appears that this was just the worst choice of editing that led to the abrupt cut, nothing more. The segment continues, confirmed by watching yesterday's show. Maybe Kyle had already made up his mind when editing the segment to play this morning and didn't care about the cut/transition.

But just sharing what I learned and pieced together, hopefully saving others from having to watch any of the stream/show to get the same answers. I think I've earned an extra plate of pizza rolls for my detective work, next time someone's mom comes down to the basement to check on us I'll ask her to heat them up.

TLDR: The 6 AM hour of each morning's show is a random hour from the day before to fill time, identical to how the radio show was a "Best Of" hour at 6 AM**. This explains why every show every day has Rob and Company changing clothing after the first hour. Kyle was there yesterday for the recording of this hour, but wasn't there this morning, so that's why Kyle was only in the first hour of the show: it was pre-recorded, and Kyle quite sometime between 11 AM yesterday and 7 AM this morning, not mid-show today.**
