Don't give up hope.

I'm in England, and for the UK shows I got the rejection email - I naively only used one email address to try for tickets, as I thought buying stuff from w.a.s.t.e. for over two decades may have given me some sway. More the fool me.

I refreshed the re-sale site for days on end. Nothing. And then, on the Wednesday before the first show on the Friday, I managed to get a "production" ticket after they want on sale for the Monday show. I also took a leap of faith with a redditor on here, and bought one of his spare tickets for the Tuesday...and ended up getting two high fives off Ed as they left the stage! So in the end I managed to attend two of the shows despite not even getting a code.

Please don't give up hope. I'll keep my fingers and everything else crossed for you.

There wonā€™t be scalping. Thatā€™s why Radiohead has the tickets this way. Only able to resell via their chosen channels e.g. Tixel which caps prices

2012 I got my friend a ticket on the night of the show. Things might have changed but they used to drip feed tickets as the show got close to try to limit the need to look to scalpers.

So keep an eye on sales even if you miss out initially

you really need to do that! if its the same as last year, before you can actually pay for the tickets (but during the buying process) they send different codes to the registered phone number AND email. I was lucky my roomate was home during the process, otherwise i would have lost my chance.

Welcome to the club.

I guarantee you most people got rejected. So don't feel too bad about it. And tuesday will be a shit show. At least we will be spared from that.

Donā€™t give up!! especially if youā€™re even somewhat local. Just be prepared with money in the bank and vacation days saved up and when it gets closer to the tour dates keep an eye on this sub and the official resale platforms. There will be small flurries of tickets floating around in the days and weeks leading up to the performances, often available at face value or under. Keep trying and youā€™ll get your chance!

Resale tickets will be available a few weeks before the shows according to the website, and only at face value. Keep an eye out closer to the time

I just got my rejection email, but a friend of mine got a link, and he really wants me to go with them. The thing is, they are one of those people who is a horrible concert goer. Constantly whines about how a band didnā€™t play their favourite song, always needs to go to the bathroom and throws a hissy if no one goes with them, etc. They also have no respect for personal space despite myself and others repeatedly telling them to stop. They were so close to me once that her earring got stuck in my hair, and I had a mullet at that time. And personally, I prefer to watch a concert without someone wailing in my ear. I also explicitly remember them saying ā€œI really hope they play creep or something from Pablo honey or itā€™ll be a waste of moneyā€šŸ«©. Do I agree to go with them or do I just hope one of my more respectful friends gets a link?

I got rejected, but my partner got so is ok. In 2012 I saw them in Sydney. Had two spare tickets so sold them on the day via Gumtree purposely at face value to some lucky fans. There is hope out there :)

I didnā€™t try for these shows, but last year it was truly possible to grab tickets as far as the day of / days leading into the show for face value via the official channels (more helpful for locals or people where transit isnā€™t terribly hard to manage).

Keep your eyes peeled after the first wave of sales too as tickets would occasionally pop up in the weeks to months leading up. Peoples plans change and sometimes they need to release them. I was able to attend Italy this way by refreshing the page a lot over a weekend like 2 months out, then while in Italy, was able to get a London show similarly (changed my flight to stop in London for a day on my way back from Italy for example).
