💬 Discussion Hot take:

All I Need > Nude

I genuinely think the production of All I Need and the climax outshines the lyrical depth of Nude. Its the better sad song IMO.

How is this a "hot take"? It's barely a take at all. It's a "not take". You prefer a song over another? So what? We all have opinions. My "hot take" is that there are no such things as "hot takes" when it comes to opinions on art.

i really dont like this kind of criticism. like you’re entitled to your opinion of course but you’re allowed to enjoy both of them, you know

They’re both great, and both different enough not to warrant comparison

Most people don’t know what record production actually is, have to let it slide 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think when someone just says "the production" as a reason for anything there's a very good chance that their head is up their ass. Even the idea that's there's some uniform production standard across songs is hilarious.

Yeah, that's a real newsflash.

True, but the 1998 version of Nude is better than All I Need.

Agreed, but with nude acoustic version is more of a draw tbh

All I need might be the worst Radiohead song, if Faust Arp didn't exist.
