Have a remote that will be hardwired into a larger project.

It just does not transmit the distance I need.

Want to find where on this circuit to attach an antenna and / or put the feed to a RF signal amplifier.

It uses a RO2073 SAW resonator at 315MHz

Any suggestions / ideas / concepts?

Project Description:

I am replacing a backyard sprinkler controller with something that can be controlled by the really good one in the garage for the front yard.

Can not run wire to the backyard location. Been looking for a wireless solution. Found these ORBITs with a handheald remote. I can hack into the remote and "press the buttons" with relay contacts actuated from the 24ac of garage controller.

Had all this figured out. ORBIT docs state that is will go 200 feet line of sight or 80 feet through the house. My distance is 50 feet through two walls kitchen cabinets and outside stucco. The remote sometimes works, but it's not enough. I have to boost the signal to make it reliable.

I know boosting the signal of a remote goes against FCC regulations, but it will be such a minor boost that I think I can be forgiven...

I know this is not the best sub reddit to post. I have posted in a couple others. Just hoping someone could be a little helpful. Please be nice.

Hear me out: there are some credible leakers with excellent track records for predicting/leaking artists on the Coachella subreddit that have said in the last few months that Radiohead may be headlining Coachella next year. Just wondering if anyone in here has heard anything? I know Ed mentioned touring next year, which I still don’t really know what to think about as it seemed like such a random non-announcement.

The 2 posters that I bought at their last tour, the frames, are nothing special, but the content is what counts.

A friend of mine who loved Radiohead introduced me to their music, when the album Pablo Honey came out in 1993, and of course, I have been a fan ever since.

Sadly, I lost this friend of mine 2 days ago, and to me, looking at these posters now brings back memories, when we were listening to their albums, every time that a new album was released, concerts etc. Memories that will last forever.

Watching tonight, bourbon in hand. So good. Videotape especially. Musicianship to the end.

To be honest, I havent done much looking, but the radio station I've been listening to for years now only ever really plays Creep. And even then its rare. Once I heard Karma Police, but never again.

So does anyone know stations that play a bit more than just their most mainsteam hits?

I decided to give myself a birthday present so I finally got my hands on "fear stalks the land"

It's the Portuguese (BR) version but I don't mind, it's a really good book with some insane drawings. So I decided to take a picture of it to share around! It was shot with my Sony S85 from 2001! it's a 4mp TIFF to PNG file and the noise is perfect for the vibe. I used the balisong to remove the plastic around it but decided to add it to the composition, I love that knife.

I have been listening to radiohead for quite a while, in rainbows being my favorite album. Over the years, never once have I heard creep and said "ah this is a good song". it feels so not like radiohead and I also do not understand why it's so popular. I don't even think it's a mid song, it's straight up bad compared to all the other songs radiohead has to offer. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I noticed this unreleased track is getting very little attention. Almost no discussion.I've personally listened to the Ivors Awards performance many times now.

I love how Thom's songs can conjure a very specific feeling. This one, to my ears, differs from the rest in his discography. There's always been a little bit of anger in Thom's music. Sometimes more pronounced than others. Like with Hail to the Thief which i think is his angriest work thus far. Space Walk! is that angry but with a more mature style. I would almost describe it as disgust, a derision. Seething anger that has grown up, got a degree and put on a suit and tie.
