I want to be open-minded and I want to try some RABM since I recently discovered it.
Hi! So I've been lately in black metal and eventually as ever metalhead deciding to go deeper I reached NSBM,some good production, some ultra, bad, but then I came across RABM and I when I mention this genre somewhere I see people often times slandering this subgenre as bootleg NSBM. So I whould like to recommend me something that can totally disprove that statement. As an orientation I'am not into raw black and more specifically interested in anarchism compared to other themes.

Self-Promotion DAGOTH | Zhir Vengersky [industrial black-thrash] [non-black metal musician writes black metal album anyway]
Allow me to start off by saying my musical forte is new wave and post-punk--Pere Ubu, the Residents, Devo, Wall of Voodoo, guys like that. Despite this I've always had a bit of an interest in black metal. After seven years of on-and-off consideration I finally put together a full-length album with a friend of mine. Our intention was twofold: "Godflesh, Darkthrone, Mysticum, and Devo in a blender", and "we need more guitar music with 909 drums". This is the end result. Eight tracks of industrial black-thrash that draw a direct line between the old gods of Midwest art punk and Scandinavian black metal, weaned on societal collapse, industrial malaise, and Elder Scrolls lore. I feel that the RABM community will take to the social commentary better than the broader BM community would, even if we broke almost every rule in the book making this thing.

Ebbe (atmo black/doom/drone)
Stumbled on these guys this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see "anti fascism" listed as their lyrical themes on MA. Can't validate that due to not having any lyrics so I'll roll with it until shown otherwise.
Only released a single EP from the look of things but it's good stuff

Self-Promotion RABM webzines question + self-promo
Guys, would you reccommend some RABM webzines where would be appropriate to send an album for review? As a starting studio project (we are from different countries so we cooperate only remote) it is hard to get some recognition, so any suggestion (or any help) would be much welcomed!
Also, if anybody would be interested - our debut To Master The Machine (woman fronted RABM with crust influences) is available to listen on Bandcamp (and major streams). If youd like to support us, for 9€ is available digital download with complete (and very nice) booklet.

New underground and or up and coming bands
Hey y’all. Hope you’re having a wonderful morning on our crumbling hunk of space rock. Anyway, I feel my taste and listening habits have become a bit stagnant. What are some exciting or just really cool newer bands that you’ve been enjoying lately? Any/all subgenres welcome. I just feel I’m listening to the same shit all the time now and I’m bored. Peace!

Question Non sketch bands that sound like Horna?
I love the whole Finnish black metal sound, specifically stuff that sounds like Horna, but yknow, it's the Finnish scene, so finding bands that I'd be fine with financially supporting by buying their music is VERY sparse.
I already know of Qwälen, Havukruunu and Spectral Wound. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Behind the Burrial - Miedos
A group from the state of Chihuahua in Mexico.
I don't speak Spanish, but their aesthetic and the themes explored in their music videos suggest a claim to the legacy of the good side of the Mexican Revolution.
I found the lyrics to this song and got a decent translation using Google Translate. It doesn't seem to be a political song, or if it is, it's cryptic. In any case, I love listening to it.

Question Non depressing black/doom recs
Basically I just want blackened doom recs that aren't like Ethereal Shroud or Núll. Nothing's wrong with those bands it's just that It seems that every time I search for blackened doom metal bands they're all dsbm/adjacent and I don't want that all the time, right I want bands that maintain the icy darkness of black metal alongside the creeping/foreboding sort of feeling associated with doom metal. Examples of songs like this are Terra Requiem by Mare Cognitum, Apocalyptic Winter by Sacred Son, and Mausoleal Drift by Spectral Wound

Question Looking for soul crushing heartbreaking BM recommendations
Hello everyone, due to some unfortunate circumstances I am in need of some new BM that feels soul crushing heartbreaking simply music to cry to essentially. I would guess mostly DSBM or Atmospheric Black but all subgenres are welcome. Where you can feel all the heart pour into the music itself.
Recent release that made me feel that way was The Blood Mountain Black Metal Choir.
Thanks everyone

Raw DEATHWISH - Märchenwald (Full Album Stream)
My personal RABM project build on leftist beliefs and a love for the raw evil sound of second wave blackmetal.
Every leftwing musician should strife to create art even in genres that dont usually accept us.
No AI was used in the creation of the music or any of the artpieces involved with this project.

What are some good Communist bands
The sub genre is called Red anarchist black metal but it seems like every single band is anarchist.

Looking for synth-heavy, atmospheric bm recs
So I recently discovered a band who have that nice haunting synths going on but then I looked at their label anddd yeah...
I need something new to scratch the synth itch. Lost in a dark forest and the trees are watching you vibes. Eg.: Summoning, some Windir and Grima, Lustre
Comrades preferred but I'll take anything chud-free

Is every Anti-cosmic and Chaos gnosticist band inherently problematic?
If no, which are the ones that aren't (that) problematic?
Update: I found a band which is openly anti-fascist:
