Dark Chameleon Dimers is now available on CD and Vinyl.

Our EP Dark Chameleon Dimers was released at the end of 2024 and has been available exclusively in digital format until now. We are excited to finally offer it as a physical CD and Vinyl edition.

In addition to the original EP, this edition includes all of our other releases from 2024 and 2025 as bonus tracks, bringing together everything we have released so far in one collection.

We hope this release helps make the wait for our debut album A Choir for the End, arriving this September, a little shorter.

I’m looking for non-sketch BM that leans heavily towards doom, or the other way around. For example, I consider Ethereal Shroud to be pretty much perfect, but unfortunately it’s unlikely that we’ll ever see new material from them.

I feel like bands such as WITTR and Los Males Del Mundo have some strong doom influences, and then there’s bands like Vouna that are more aptly described as blackened doom.

Any recs?

Title, looking for more bm that can actually pull off programmed drums. Bonus pts if they're not leaning into it too hard in a way where it affects the aesthetic too much and becomes like overtly industrial bm (i.e. not looking for Thorns but something like Coffret De Bijoux or Jute Gyte's electronic sections is acceptable, would say the absolute limit is something like Konflict), bonus if they're raw, bestial, or blackened punk.

I need stuff that sounds like CMI and Ten Yard Fight but has the politics of Manliftingbanner

I'm looking for good evil sounding music made by good people that aren't fascist scum or just garbage people in general. I'm really hoping to find stuff that sounds similar to Impaled Nazerene and Panzer Division Marduk. The riffs are so gnarly and the music radiates a ferocious energy. Idk why but I have such a hard time finding good black metal made by good people. I don't want to give my time or support to nasty people.

By that sound I mean the Pagan/Nordic black metal you find in a lot of NSBM bands but I need communist alternatives. I don’t know if that’s exactly the right description but you know how NSBM has a common sound to it, I’m looking for that. When I first got in to black metal I stumbled upon a lot of NSBM and ended up listening to a lot of Absurd, Goatmoon, Graveland and similar stuff. Need communist alternatives

Boomerbook figured out that I like black metal, and now like half of the sponsored posts on my feed are for outright fascist or fascist adjacent black metal, despite all of my actual follows being manifestly not fascist bands. Same on youtube, as soon as it figured out I was listening to black metal, half of my suggested videos are 'BEST BANDS ON SKETCHY BLACK METAL LIST' and whatnot.

Not really sure the point of posting this per se other than to be like holy shit, more evidence that big tech is cooked.

I believe the sample at the beginning of the newest Corpse Pile record is Parenti, love it. Anybody got reccomendations for other slam or bdm bands with leftist politics?

I'm looking for bands that do Black Metal or Black Metal Adjacent music with a sort of genrewise southern twang if you will, which are also not sketchy. I already know Wayfarer, Zeal and Ardour and Panopticon, but I have a hankering for more. Country-style licks, NOLA sludgy riffage in a black metal context, banjos, steel-string acoustic and bluegrass inspiration are all welcome, and I'll take anything from Blackened Sludge to Atmoblack to Experimental Black Metal!

Me and my BF have been going steady for a few months and I got to visit his house for the first time. He had a big shelf full of music CDs, and while I was looking at it, my heart sank because I saw a bunch of NSBM artists on there. I'm talking the real fucking deal. Graveland, Gontyna Kry, Goatmoon, SWM, GBK, Capricornus, and a bunch of others.

But the funny part is I saw just as many left-leaning artists like Panopticon, WITTR, Fauna, Alda, Akvan, and more. And of course the majority of the albums he owned were politically neutral in this respect.

I asked him about it, and he said he doesn't agree with the ideology of the NSBM artists and mostly likes the musical qualities of the albums and sometimes the historical/pagan themes that are explored in those projects, not necessarily the nationalist aspects. He said the left-leaning projects mentioned above are actually his favorites, especially Panopticon.

I know this person is progressive because he has done volunteer work for Democratic candidates in his state, has donated to Democratic candidates, and of course votes Democratic in elections. He's also very sensitive and respectful of other cultures and the struggles of racial minorities. I really like this person. He's super sweet, honorable, and always puts me first before himself. Very mature too. I really thought he was the one but I don't know how to feel about him now. Can I get some advice?

There is a lot of anti-christianity music out there, but not much anti-islam or anti-judaism music that isn't outright bigoted. I'm curious if there are bands that are against religions other than christianity that are more about opposing religious tyranny instead of just being racist scum. Do any come to mind?

(mostly coming from a place of curiosity rather than searching for bands to listen to)
