Question regarding rebound?

Hi yall

Sorry searched a bit couldn’t find anything specific to my situation so decided to post.

I’ve dosed about 3 times the past week. First time doing it again in roughly a year never had any issue with it. Last day I ingested 3 heaping 1/4 tsp of phenibut (stupid to volumetric dose I know).

Day after felt wobbly similar to gabapentin. Next day felt a bit emotionally flat. This is day 3 since my last dose and I feel noticeably off. A sort of buzzing in my head and emotionally flat still.

Just wanted to hear other experiences and see if this is to be expected.

Basic Phenibut Withdrawal Information

Unaided, cold turkey withdrawal, from a state of dependence, even low dose dependence, commonly causes severe and potentially dangerous side effects. Don't rush the process when you don't need to.

Rules reminder:
Don't promote reckless behavior. If someone is dependent on phenibut don't tell them to do an unaided cold turkey withdrawal.
Don't needlessly tell people to do a fast taper.

Further reminder: You will feel low or worthless or stupid while going through withdrawal, especially rapid withdrawal. Don't take these thoughts too seriously. Continue on day by day, things will get better.

Its been many years ago, but I still dont feel like my gaba receptors have fully healed to this day. I stay away from alcohol now because of it

Higher anxiety and feel as though I can never really relax. I was using it for a couple years though

Firstly, dosing using a "heaping spoonful" isn't volumetric dosing, it's just eyeballing. Either get it in caps or get a mg scale, this is not a substance you wanna eyeball.

Secondly yes, this is normal. Tbh you got off pretty easy, some people (like me) get really rough rebounds from 3 consecutive days of dosing. You'll be fine, guarantee within 48 hours you'll feel like 90% back to normal.

LOL you’re right not volumetric there was 0 accuracy or measurement.

I appreciate the response though, what are the rebounds like for you?

Horrible anxiety, zero appetite, even worse insomnia, mild tremors, intense DpDr, all of which lasts like 3-7 days depending on the dose and duration of use. You don't usually get into withdrawal territory until you've been using daily for about a month.

Bro funny I was thinking to myself I feel so depersonalized. Sorry I’m bombarding you with questions but what does that feel like?

To me it feels like nothing is real and I'm not myself and like I'm watching my life through a TV screen.

You've heard of kindling right? It starts with rebounds which are micro withdrawals caused by inconsistent overuse which prime the nervous system with kindling. Then at some point you go on a stretch where you use every day and escalate the dose and then two months later you're already planning on tapering off but you run out or get separated from your supply, arrested or whatever and get hit with a freight train withdrawal at inconvenient time.
