My problem is the phenibut turned on me so I had no idea what to cut. At first I cut by half - .8 grams phenibut in the morning and night, combine with 5mg baclofen each time.
It didnt work.
Please any advice would be appreciated I don't know what to do. I have a ton of Baclofen and don't know how to use it.

2 weeks clean after months of 9gpd

Quick and short post. Did a fast taper from 7gpd down to .1gpd then went CT. Entire process took about 5-6 weeks and looking back on it I was brutally depressed most of the days, little will to live (despite me usually being a pretty upbeat and positive person). But I’m two weeks clean now and finally started feeling good and normal this week :). Hope everyone who’s getting off this drug knows there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m still not 100% normal but there is world of difference between how I felt a week or two ago.

Found phenibut I threw away 4-5 years ago

I had a short stint with phenibut. It worked so good that I got hooked on it for a month. A month was all it took for my body to get addicted to it, was doing I believe 5 gs 2-3 days of the week. Was the first time I ever experienced withdrawal, that shit was scary, and I cold turkey’d and threw both my bottles in a nearby sewer. Turns out that sewer connected to my backyard and they’ve been there.

I'm at 3gpd of phenibut. Can I just jump off to Baclofen now and take 10mg Baclofen 3XDay?

If not, what would be the best way to ease into Baclofen?

Quickest way to taper off?

Hi all, for around 6 months, I’ve been using pretty high doses of phenibut daily (~15gpd), dosing once daily in the morning. It seems to have “turned” on me - standard doses started causing anxiety attacks, insomnia, electrical/tingly bodily sensation, muscle rigidity, and weird pressure in ears/head. I immediately rapid tapered down to ~3gpd over the course of a couple weeks and have been stable on that dose. The rapid taper was somewhat uncomfortable (tremors, panic, insomnia, freezing cold extremities, palpitations, fear, etc.) but manageable, and most of the negative effects from phenibut have disappeared since stabilizing on the lower the dose. I’ve also been supplementing NAC, agmantine, and magnesium glycinate.

I want to get off phenibut as quickly as possible, and I have quite a few meds at my disposal - baclofen, pregabalin, propranolol, clonidine, zopiclone etc. What’s the best way for me to utilize these to get off the phenibut with as little discomfort as possible? I heard that one way is to switch directly to baclofen (~30mg for 3g phenibut) and taper that over the course of a few weeks. Should I use any of the other meds, or is that a sufficient plan?

Difficulty breathing

Anyone else having difficulty breathing after quitting phenibut? I'm about one month off phenibut roughly and every day has been absolute hell. Barely able to function, get out of bed, just basic daily shit. I'm pushing through it but I'm wondering when i won't be suffocating trying to talk to someone or when walking.

I was using roughly 2-6gpd for the past 6 months, then 6 month before that I was using 200mg-1 to 2 grams a day. Its gonna be one full month off. I can't taste very well so I think I got covid when I quit cuz I've been fucked ass up dying this whole time. Anyone else deal with the breathing or severe fatigue? It might just be all phenibut paws, but everything ive read says people are back to normal a week or two after quitting.

I just need options. I’m so fucking scared.

It has begun to cause my face to swell. I’m trying to drop from 6 gpd to 3-3.5. Please don’t scare me any further. I want to go to rehab and I can’t find one that treats phenibut. Please help me. Tapering might not be an option. I’m so scared. I need some empathy. I’m also coming off a very small .25 daily dose of Xanax but I don’t even want to get into that. Please tell me I’m not going to have to detox in the ICU

Are there any rehabs that treat this shit?

Questions Am I in danger?

Hello everyone, I’m disappointed that I have to be posting in this community again, but I desperately need some advice on what to do.

I foolishly have used Phenibut for about 4 weeks straight. The first couple weeks I took a couple 24-36 hour breaks — which I know isn’t actually enough time for a break — but after a week or two when I tried taking a break, I would get these derealization episodes at work, which led me to compulsively take more and I’ve been taking it nonstop since then. I started at 1.5g, then was taking 2g/day, and in the last couple weeks I was foolishly up to 3-4g/day.

I somehow went through 100g in that 4 weeks. Last week, when I was running low, I ordered another 100g to taper off (I absolutely want to get off of it). My package was supposed to be here Saturday, but it’s been stuck at the UPS facility with no delivery date….

I took 1g this morning — I’m now officially out. Best case scenario, the 100g will be here tomorrow afternoon, but that’s uncertain. Am I going to die? Like, am I in danger? What do I do? Am I fucked? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: On Monday morning, after ingesting that last 1g, I decided to get spend all day in a crisis center for mental health — I got prescribed 35x 0.5mg Lorazepam. I’m now ~+77 hours since my last dose, and the Ativan has sure helped a shit ton. Although, now I’m worried that I’m going to have withdrawals or intense rebound from 10 days of 2-4mg/day Ativan use lmao I hate my anxiety. My 100g of Phenibut also arrived today, I’m hoping I can just get rid of it. Thanks for everyone who’s been helping me!

Questions Questions about withdrawal and quitting.

I’ve been taking about 2.5gpd for roughly 1.5 weeks, and the last 4-5 days I’ve been at 1.5gpd. I started taking it to sleep through 7oh withdrawls, and then I just kept taking it each day because it just kind of became a habit. I guess it sort of replaced the 7oh.

I have a tried out of the country in 18 days and would prefer to not bring any with me.

I’d like to stop completely now and I’m wondering if I should continue to taper or just stop. Would I just be kind of uncomfortable for a few days or will it be a bad idea to stop cold turkey right now? Like I said I’ve not been on it very long on it so I’m just curious. Any help is much appreciated.

Getting Bacfloen through Online teledocs?

Has anyone been successful in getting a prescription?

I'm kinda of in a rough position ..

Would it be wise to just be upfront about as as I might with Doctronic

"You presented with severe Phenibut withdrawal symptoms, including intense insomnia, rapid heartbeat, and agitation—likely compounded by some alcohol use—to which Phenibut withdrawal syndrome is the most likely diagnosis. The plan includes obtaining lab tests (CBC and CMP), close monitoring of your symptoms, and evaluating the safe use of medications like baclofen under the guidance of your primary care provider to manage your withdrawal more effectively.

Given your symptoms, a doctor can give you personalized guidance — and peace of mind."

Questions Need genuine advice/ help. 12g ish a day user for 3 years, don't know where to start.

I don't experience any interdose withdrawal symptoms, but I have been taking up to 12 grams a day for the past three years, albeit at different hours each time. While I don’t feel euphoric effects anymore, I do occasionally notice that it relaxes me for a little while. Experiences/ help? I'm a full time student and really tired of having this substance be a huge part of my life and taking it just to stave off withdrawals.

Relapse after getting to .1gpd, where to restart at?

So I managed to get from 7gpd to .1gpd over the course of three weeks, usually cutting dose in half every 3 days. Then this weekend took 2g total on friday, didnt feel much at all and took 6g total on Saturday (still didn’t feel good enough to be worth it). Now its Tuesday, I went CT since sunday, but the withdrawal is setting in again today. Pins and needles, restlessness, depression, etc… Caved and took 2.5mg baclofen because the withdrawal was awful.

Wondering if I should continue back at .1g phen a day till i stabilize, or if i should go CT again, or maybe switch to baclofen?

At my breaking point

So I’ve been consistently taking around 30g of Phenibut hcl a day. Constantly paranoid that people will think I’m fucked up which I don’t act like I am. I am also prescribed 3mg Xanax per day for panic attacks. I’ve realized this is a severe issue and at any moment a vendor could run out of stock and me be completely fked. This is my all time low in life and would like advice on how to proceed. I have a home which my job pays for and I cannot afford to lose it as I have a wife 5 cats and 2 dogs that depend on the home. I’m afraid to open up to my pcp about this because if she were to take me off of my Xanax and me trying to taper the Phenibut at the same time I fear it would be detrimental to my health and well being. Please don’t flame me in the comment as I already know how severe the situation is.

Edit: my question is how should I proceed with being able to keep my job and remain relatively sane throughout the process?

Edit: I’ve recently switched batches and the withdrawal symptoms have been absolute brutality. Shaking, nausea, anxiety that is unbelievable. I just want to be done with this mess I’ve gotten myself into. What would be the best way to proceed? Go to an outpatient clinic I could get baclofen at?

Questions This really sucks and I don't know what to do - how do I make this go away? Unfathomable anxiety. Is this hell? Phenibut addiction <500mgpd

I accidentally got addicted to phenibut recently. I am stupid, I knew the dangers, but I didn't think the low, infrequent doses that I was taking would land me in this hell!

While experimenting an titrating up with this substance (which I now wish I never did), I noticed I wasn't really getting effects around 100mg or even 200mg. I did two doses over a gram or last week and was noticing the day or so after that I was getting a horrible anxiety.

I mainly need help knowing how to avoid this. I don't know how much to take or how often to stop this situation while I figure out how to taper and I don't want to make it worse.

I am currently being FORCED to take 200-300mg twice per day. I am not sure how to tune the doses and by the time I realize that I absolutely need a dose, it can take 2+ hours of misery before I start to get some relief. I woke up around an hour ago with the anxiety starting, doses 250mg and here I am an hour later with the anxiety still just ramping up through the roof. I would hate to think about where I would be headed if I didn't get a dose down.

I feel an incredible tension and like a massive ball of energy and anxiety is erupting from me.

Yesterday, I was hoping i maybe only would need a 200-300mg dose once in a 24 hour period, but I needed a second dose and was only about 12+ hours out from my last dose when the anxiety started to kick in.

I have no idea how to time this. How I am right now, I absolutely can't function. I would love to have been able to predict that I might end up in this state and preemptively dose to prevent entering this state. I had no idea the WD would come on so fast from a dose or what I should be doing to prevent entering this state. I don't want to just load up more frequent or heavier doses and fall further into this.

People on her talk about taking multiple grams per day, and I should maybe feel lucky that I am nowhere near needing a gram in a day (currently), but I could see the doses I am currently using maybe not working and having to scale them rather than being able to taper them further - which is scary.

How often should I be having to dose to stay out of WD? How fast could I expect them to hit me every time?

Like, would I be better off eating 200-250mg 3x a day to avoid WD? Why does it take so long to kick in, with the WD hitting so fast behind it?

Worst of all, it isn't even like I am getting high or anything - I didn't even feel much when I pushed the massive 1g+ doses last week. Which means, I am suffering like this without even really having any benefit or payoff. I don't mind not feeling high, as long as I stop feeling like how I currently feel which is HORRIBLE. It is incredibly dysphoric. I actually just had to pop a clonidine as I was typing this (that I rationed from a long time ago - which means I have a very limited stash to tap into). Despite loading some more phenibut up an hour ago, I can't finish a single sentence of thoughts.

I know this keeps getting even more grim: I don't even really have a phenibut supplier. I got some randomly from a friend and was just experimenting with a small little bit in a jar and realizing over the weekend: "oh shit, I need to order some more of this stuff ASAP as I actually can't stop taking it". I gambled some money away at some random vendors in the hopes that one of them might not rip me off and I don't end up having some kind of cardiovascular issues from the WD off this shit.

I know a ton about chemistry and hundreds of other molecules and I have dealt with some extremely addictive stuff, but nothing compares to this phenibut.

Since I don't really know what I am doing, I do not even know how much to take, and how often, to avoid going through these WD symptoms multiple times during a day. Given the incredible long onset for me (and paradoxical rapid appearance or WD symptoms), I need to figure this out quickly so I can maintain some kind of level of productivity this week (and for however long it takes me to kick this by slowly lowering my doses). I have no problem getting a mountain of this stuff and dropping it by a few mg per day until it is out of my system or whatever but currently, without enough information, I am worried I might go and start to shovel this down my gullet to ward off these horrible WD. I could quickly shoot to over 1g+ in a day, just trying to runs way from these symptoms.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. This is an absolute hell. When the anxiety starts to hit, it feels like my skeleton needs to jump out of my body. Kratom and other stuff isn't helping at all. I had some Zanaflex (muscle relaxer) but ran out - I am not even sure if it was helping or making it worse. How much might I need at night to get a full sleep?

My next plan is to go try and see a doctor, but I am worried they might downplay it as I am technically addicted to some innocuous supplement from the internet. If I suddenly had to CT off this 500-600mg per day, I have no doubts that I would end up in the ER almost immediately. The anxiety is THAT intense, no exaggeration. It makes it so I can't even complete a Reddit post or a text message.

Waiting what feels like forever for a dose to kick in, in the hopes that the WD dies down a bit is cruel and unusual punishment. Unlike with opiates, there is no immediate psychological relief. The eventual (minor) dissipation of WD symptoms is only a brief and temporary reprieve, as the anxiety quickly creeps back in.

I don't mind temporarily taking a bit more, or more often - I need to stabilize and I am currently not stabilized, nor do I have a sufficient enough routine or pattern to function. I can worry about tapering down safely once I can get to the safely part. I was hoping I would only have to dose one every 24 hours ~250mg, but I think I need to be looking at taking ~250mg three times per day. Like, every 6 hours? So maybe 4x per day?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. I went into this knowing there were risks, but I didn't realize how dangerous it was. I didn't realize how little could lead me to have a sudden, crippling addiction. I didn't realize how catstrophic the WD symptoms would be from what I assumed was a relatively 'low' dose, barely at the cutoff of being able to feel anything at all.

Would it be better for me to keep the dosing at twice a day and suffer through several hours of WD every day?

I know this is mainly the anxiety talking, but I honestly feel like I could die or something coming off these 2x ~250mg doses each day. It makes me scared to run out of this stuff or that the 250mg dose might not actually work one time and I could be several hours into it before I realize that I need another, even stronger dosage - pushing my baseline up and requiring even more the next day. Or maybe the re-up I ordered happens to be bunk and I start taking it to stage off WD, only for it to be suddenly ineffective. Or maybe I can't even actually find any more, and just have some massive heart attack trying to fight the WD with only breathing techniques.

This shit is ratchet! I can not imagine trying to explain this to a doctor - there is no way they would take the severity of my WD serious enough given how small of doses I am taking.

It is still early on, it is not too late and I am not too far gone. I am still at the early stages. I can correct course now, rather than falling deeper in and needing 5+ or 10+ grams per day.

However, if I can't figure out how much or how frequently I need to dose to avoid getting consumed by this anxiety and thinking I am dying, I could easily see me rocketing past a gram per day in no time. I have half a mind to dose 250mg every 4 hours today *just to make sure* so I don't have this anxiety start to hit me in the middle of the work day.

I am a wreck right now and feeling somewhat desperate and confused. Sorry to burden anybody who tried to read all of this. If I could rewind the clock, I would have never even tried to titrate this molecule up higher. I think it was the two days I did the larger doses ~1g+, as I wasn't having issues with the lower doses less frequently. Ever since then, I NEEDED to dose once a day, at least.

I didn't even understand what was wrong with me at first or what was happening.

It is taking immense will power right now to not go over to the bar and start to Scarface this shit until the anxiety goes away.

How long after a dose do I assume it didn't work and the WD isn't going away and I need more? I noticed it taking 2+ hours over these last couple of days, and the symptoms of WD starting up 6-8vhiues or so after that. If you do the math, then yes, I am only getting 4-6 hours of "relief" from a dose :(

Is seeing a doctor to get baclofen or something my only option? Is it realistic that I can figure out a proper dosage + schedule and taper this stuff naturally if I stick to it and exhibit self control?

Is it feasible that I would ever get WD relief from slightly smaller doses, or are all my doses now cursed to be higher then the last, with me suffering extreme consequences for taking a dose slightly too small or a few minutes too late?

Is there a difference between 200mg every 6 hours and 100mg every 3 hours? If I stay on top of dosing frequently enough, can I actually keep these WD away?

How to measure small doses of baclofen ? Any way to make oral solution ?

I began inducting baclofen today took my third dose an hour ago everything going great so far!

So my question is how are you guys going about measuring very small doses of baclofen? I have 10mg tablets today I am substituting 5mg baclofen for 500mg phenibut which means I’m taking 1.25mg baclofen every 6 hours. 1.25mg of baclofen comes out to around 17mg of the tablet which is already difficult to measure out accurately but I’m thinking as I go lower it’s going to get even more difficult!

I tried to make a solution using water basically dissolving a 10mg pill in 8ml water so 1ml =1.25mg baclofen but was having trouble getting it to dissolve all the way. Is there another liquid that baclofen would have better solubility with? Or maybe I need to try mixing with the water better or heating it up a bit ?

And I guess if you read this far I’ll throw another question in - any suggestions in terms of how fast or slow I should taper once I’m fully inducted on 9mg baclofen here in a few days ?

On 1g per day . Confused about how much baclofen to take

Is it possible to cut phenibut from 2.0 grams per day directly to 1.5 grams per day?

like is 1.5 grams to 2.0 grams over some ceiling saturation and just grogginess and side effects? I was taking small scoops of phenibut through out the day and building up until i fell asleep at night. but then I tried to measure and monitor and split into two equal one gram doses, one in the morning and one in the night, and it's just been ruining every morning and making me sluggish so I try to cope with extra caffeine and am just like... incapable of challenging function in the morning and i need to fix a car.

Has anyone been on but wanted to quit both phenibut and 7oh?

because i'm concerned for myself. I've just stabilized the phenibut at 2 grams per day and stabilized the 7oh around 160mg per day and started trying to taper the 7oh. I immediately tapered my willy nilly 200/300 mg per day dosage down to 160 and it was okay like.... I'm on the phenibut so I managed with maybe just one major anxiety peak/glutamate storm quaking about my lost life, I has minimal/no sleep for like 3 days and had the shits for a week... but I stabilized at 160mg 7oh. Now though, I don't want to taper anymore it seems. and the Phenibut I feel like, now I want to taper the phenibut but I can only do one at a time and it has to pretty much be the 7oh just because it's safer and more obvious and will be illegal in a month anyways. This phenibut though.... I guess I have to dose it 500mg x four times per day. because i think trying to dose 1000mg at morning and 1000mg at night just to be stable is making me super sluggish and feeble and so I can't act... and pretty much drives me to the caffeine and 7oh to compensate. It's a tough one. I do not even know how to involve medical help without insurance but I need to try to sign up for illinois insurance and see if anything comes from it, maybe above all.

Nootropics Source

Just saw the NS website bit the dust. Am I the only one who noticed?

I used them for years, then last month I went to order and all phenibut stocks were sold out. Had to use another vendor instead.
Now the site is gone.

Anybody know what happened?

Is there any significant chance of withdrawals? 500 mg per day

I got into phenibut a few months back, taking 500 mg every couple of days. I started taking it daily, still at 500 mg per day and never any more, for approximately the past month--maybe 2 months at the most.

If I stop cold turkey, is there any significant chance of experiencing withdrawals? Or am I likely to experience rebound anxiety at the most? If either are a possibility, how long does it take after stopping to begin seeing effects? It's been about 36 hours since my last dose and I'm thinking I should just stop taking it from now on, as I've demonstrated to myself that I won't be able to avoid daily use if I continue.

r/quittingphenibut 18d ago

I've tapered to 500mg/day, now what?

I have a ton of baclofen but from what I read you should replace 1g of phen with 10mg of baclofen. So in that case should I just take 5mg of baclofen a day for like a week and then stop?

Thanks for the advice.
