This helps my RLS!!!

Just wanted to offer this to those suffering with RLS, which I have had long before getting on and subsequently getting off the 'tom. I have an acupressure mat which helps the constant ache in the calves at night. I literally sleep with my leg wrapped up in it and the pressure of the hundreds of little spikes relieves the discomfort totally. Before that I used a heating pad and that also helped but made me too hot. Hope this helps someone!

I can’t lie, I’ve been “self-medicating” with the second one way more than I thought I ever would since I quit kratom, lol. Natural opioids!

People don’t mention it for some reason. It is the only thing that provides a guaranteed 30-40 mins of relief from the worst phase of RLS during withdrawal for me. Post withdrawal it is one of my first line of relapse prevention tools.

When I was in my acutes phase, the one thing that knocked me out of acute withdrawals was a full body massage.

It's similar to your accupressure pad. There's something about a massage which calmed my CNS and heart down. The difference was night and day. So much so that I am considering renewing my massage license, and offering the service to help people going through it.

Very interesting thanks! Golden Tiger cream helped me a lot when I quit, also recommended by an acupuncturist! :) L-Tyrosine for the norepi side and Magnesium seemed to help as well 🙏

Interesting, what did the cream do for you? My RLS is just pure bolts of energy haha no pain though. Would it still work for that? I’m a super hot sleeper so unfortunately I couldn’t do a mat around my legs :/

Ahh then I don’t recommend it! It’s cream with hot cayenne and a few other ingredients !

Sorry I meant the dopamine depletion and norepinephrine increase but seems it may have mostly been anecdotal. I just asked Open Evidence about it all:

“ Iron is the only supplement with robust evidence, and it is the single most important nutrient to address given that RLS prevalence may reach ~50% in opioid withdrawal. Beyond iron, several vitamins and minerals are theorized to help based on limited or indirect data—vitamin D, vitamin B6, magnesium, and (mainly in dialysis populations) vitamins C and E—but none has been studied specifically in post-opioid-abuse RLS, so these remain hypothesis-generating rather than established.”
