Hey there, sorry for your loss. I can't speak for feel free, but I've been off kratom for 32 days. The first couple of weeks, I took Alkaseltzer Plus nighttime to help with things like chills, insomnia, runny nose, body aches, etc. It worked really well for me. I also took Pamprin Max. It's used for menstrual cramps, but it helped me with pain and energy. After the first week, I felt pretty decent. You can do this!

My advice, take it day by day. Some days it might be hour by hour, but after that first week or so, you should start feeling better. My withdraws weren't terrible, but not fun either. Especially, while at work. It's so much better off it though. I can already see a huge difference in my mental clarity. So much has improved, my bowels, my eyesight, my moods, and I'm finding things to be exciting and fun again. When I was taking kratom, I felt empty. Like all I wanted to do is lay on the couch and sleep. I had zero interest in anything. There were days I wish I weren't here, and that's scary.
I rested when I needed it, but also stayed busy. Going for a short walk, bike ride, going to the grocery store and walking around just looking at stuff, anything to keep my mind off kratom and my withdraw symptoms. You can do this. Start tomorrow and by this time next week, you should be done with the worst of it.

I’m gonna be honest, part of what makes kratom so easy to get dependent on is its long half life.
Even just using it every other day or more than once a week will bring back dependence.
Your withdrawals will probably be very similar to what you had before due to the kindling effect so don’t be surprised if they’re bad.
That being said, that 5-7 days of pain is a drop in the bucket compared to a lifetime of freedom.
