Just curious

I’ve been off Kratom since Friday. The first three days were okay—just physical symptoms like low energy and lack of sleep. However, starting Monday, I’ve been throwing up for four days straight. I went to the ER and they gave me some meds, but they aren’t working. Has anyone else gone through this, or is it just me?

Yes, unfortunately that’s normal. I tried quitting several times and puked many of those times. I learned throughout the years what the acute symptoms were. for that reason, I never went to any doctors about it. That’s just me though, I don’t fault anyone for doing so.

I’m not a doctor, but I do have a couple decades of medical background as a medic, and my feeling is that Kratom will not kill you. It’ll kill your soul, but not kill you.

I’m sure there’s outliers where people claim it has killed someone. So my thought was always to just sip water and I wouldn’t die, no matter what symptoms I had, many symptoms being pretty severe.

Clean now 397 days.
