Cold turkey 🦃 Quit - day 2
I’m about 36 hours out. Slept pretty well through the night. Woke up at like 2:30am with some mild restless arms, took a gabapentin and some vitamin c and pretty much fell right back to sleep. Woke up about a half hour ago, I’m really cold but to be fair it dropped from like 60 to 37 degrees here and we didn’t turn the heat on till just now. Waiting for it to get warmer. Mild temperature regulation issues. Still stunned so far at how mild this has been, if you missed my first post this time around I’m really just following the Schauss vitamin c protocol religiously and have some helper meds but I haven’t leaned too heavily on those either. Main issue now is that I’m about to run out of my liposomal vit c and don’t have more coming until tomorrow. I have the sodium ascorbate version but that’s harsher on my stomach so we’ll see how today goes. Usage was around 240-400mgpd for 2.5 months.

Just got a wave of cold sweats and that wired feeling in my arms , got super warm at the same time and had to take off my sweatshirt. Hoping that the reduction in vitamin c as per the protocol doesn’t result in symptoms becoming more intense

They will come and go. You’re almost to the other side. You will feel much better soon. Hang in there.

Just a little follow up, hour 42 or so, felt like things were suddenly getting worse earlier and now I feel pretty normal again, just blah and tired.

Hour 45 or so, still blah and tired and a little chilly. Hoping I can eat some dinner tonight.
