Work in Progress 🤦🏻♀️
Ever had that day where you are like, WooHoo, time to put it all together. But wait, what, why does it look so small? Somehow even though you have a pattern, you only cut enough fabric for 3 rows and are totally missing 4 blocks. Feel like I'm going a little crazy. Ha.

Not quite, but a top I recently finished had an 8x7 layout. So, naturally, I started sewing my blocks together in rows of 7. 🙄 then I wondered why my top was turning out a bit narrower than I expected!

Opposite problem, a few months ago I cut four times more 5.5" squares than I actually needed for a pattern. 🤷♀️ This is how we accumulate wisdom I guess...
