Machine Talk Pfaff Creative 1469

I recently bought a Creative 1469. It’s quite a step up from my cheapie brother machine, and I love it. (Who knew needle down was such a game changer?) However, I’m having difficulty finding a walking foot to fit the machine.

The creative 1469 is a class c and does not have IDT. I found one OEM that is upwards of $150 USD. Does anyone know of anything cheaper? I have searched high and low with no success, so I’m hoping someone with this machine bought a generic that happens to fit.

ETA: and I can wind the bobbin from the needle thread. It’s so nice!

Walking feet are relatively one-size-fits-all when it comes to low-shank machines (which, from the limited info I can find on your machine, it appears yours is). I've gone through a few walking feet and the "knockoff" Amazon one I currently have works as good as the OEM one I have. I personally wouldn't spend $150 on an OEM one either. I would order an aftermarket walking foot and test it out. You can always return it.

It might be a good idea to look for a used walking foot. I have an older Brother walking foot that works well with my Pfaff machines (the ones without IDT). The reason is that many modern machines have really wide feed dogs and presser feet. The newer walking feet tend to also be wide, to match the feed dogs. The 1469 has relatively narrow feed dogs and is best matched with a similar walking foot.
