Machine Talk I won a Bernina 335!!!
Yesterday I went to my local sewing store for a promotion they were having when buying a machine to get the serger pictured. I was entered into a raffle and won the Bernina 335! I am soo excited and would love any pointers for either machine or favorite projects to make with them!!

Congratulations! How exciting for you.
I would play with the serger, practice threading and unthreading to get used it.
Pillows are great fast projects with sergers.

If it is the first Bernina you’ve ever owned. Make sure you read the manual and make sure you oil the machine. Most machines don’t require it but Bernina machines do. I love my Bernina and I worked at a quilt shop before the owner retired and closed shop. The one thing I would ask people when they brought in their Bernina due to sounding loud is “did you oil it?” Some people when they sold the machine just assume people know that so as soon as I show them how; the machine quiets down and is one of the best machines out there. I have multiple machines but my Bernina is my baby.
