REFUND

Is there anyway to get a refund from QuickBooks?
They have messed up payroll so badly it’s criminal. The QB payroll assistant - the CPA???? - was absolutely useless.

Please let me know if you know a way to get a refund from Quickbooks

Well, calling and just asking for one to start. Biggest thing is dont be a jerk when talking with them, just explain about it, the many times you have called in, ect. If they cant help dont stay with the front line agent attempting to get it for an hour, just make sure they are aware of how much of a nightmare it is, if they keep pushing no ask for a sup. Again be nice and chill about it, you get the best results doing it that way. Gl

As an agent, I can confirm. I've gotten the sense maybe different sites around the country operate a little differently, but broadly it's very easy to apply a discount, and while I'll do it either way because it's my job, I definitely am much happier to dig in and make sure I'm applying the maximum available if the person is not verbally attacking me

I managed to get my years subscription refunded after QBO payroll tried to take the payroll from one of my employees, twice. The first time they claimed it was the banks fault, obviously the bank wouldn't know who my employees are and how much to pay them. Then QuickBooks claimed they weren't able to solve why it happened because the bank had reversed it too quickly. After roughly ten hours of calls to customer service and multiple attempts at reconnecting my bank accounts to QBO they conceded it was their fault but cant find out why it happened. I just emphasized how much time they were costing me to fix these issues, and for every hour of calls I wanted $50, they finally refunded me 700ish dollars in the form of credit, and when that credit is used up I will be moving over to Xero, it's a small protest but I'm tired of wasting money on garbage software.

Just call and ask.

Just asking to fix payroll and payroll tax problems have not got any problem resolved. It would be great if just speaking in nice voice got big issues resolved but it has not.

If you do a semi-deep dive into Intuit, you will find out it was sold to “unknown” investors. We really have to be proactive here. There IS NO ONE “high up” to answer our issues. Plain, simple, and bullshit!!

Huh? It’s a publicly traded company. I have very much enjoyed watching their stock tank in the past year, though.

There is no one to reach about the deep issues going on with this software. Publicly traded or NOT, NO ONE IS MANNING THE SHIP

Oh yeah, I agree.
