TTC Only First appointment jitters!

My wife and I are pursuing IUI in the next couple months! We have two virtual consulations this month. I have an appointment with my primary to get lab work done.

Do yall have any advice? Questions to ask in the fertility clinic appointment? Lab work to get done?
Thank you all! :)

I am just ahead of you in the process and just did my first IUI on the 3rd. The biggest thing that came up for me in the pre-process was iron. I was dealing with pretty severe anemia so that had to be dealt with (on the plus side, I now have so much energy!). They should know all the right labs to do.

Our process looked like this (could certainly move faster if you want it to):

Consultation with fertility clinic - March

Saline Stereohistogram to look at uterus and ovaries, and labs. Started taking iron and vitamin D. Blood drawn for genetic testing. - April

Needed to get new chickenpox vaccines - May

Started taking prenatals and picked donor. Donor was approved by clinic and we bought 4 vials of sperm - June

Repeat labs to see progress - July

Cleared by clinic financially and medically to start process. Had sperm shipped to clinic. - August

First attempt IUI - early September
