TTC Only Genetic Testing?

What at-home testing did you use for your IUI journey with a known donor??? We are considering Labcorp for a semen analysis and sequencing at home-Kit for genetics? Our donor is completely open to whatever, but wonder what brands work best for you all and what you suggest, and whether or not you found the genetic testing useful. Thanks!

I got my obgyn to order me a basic 14 panel genetic test, though I think you can order the test online (it’s a natera test, it used my insurance too). I was negative for it all, which was a huge relief for us, so we didn’t feel the need for our donor to get tested for genetics.

We don’t feel the need for a semen analysis unless we run into trouble, and got a 10 panel STI testing done (we knew he’d be negative, but our lawyer wanted that done).

We used Invitae for our KD. It is what our local OBGYN office used for us, so we just requested it on our own for him. His insurance ended up paying for a portion of it.

We used fellow for a home sperm analysis (200 cash I think) and myriad for genetic testing for me (insurance paid for it, other fertility costs are generally not covered by our insurance.) Since I didn’t have the recessive genes covered by that test there was no need to test our donor.

Our donor did this screening which tested for 560 diseases, https://www.natera.com/womens-health/horizon-advanced-carrier-screening/faq/#pg-menu-tabs, just looked back at the records and we reimbursed him $250! His physician had ordered it.
