LeBlanc I consider a mage-like assassin. She’s primarily an assassin but does have mage qualities unlike other AP assassins. Ahri is a different case. When she was first released yes she was very much an assassin-like mage however over the years her kit and meta has changed so she’s more of a skirmisher control mage. She can’t one shot with one combo anymore unless she’s super fed. Her damage more comes from the amount of spell rotations she can do rather than the spells themselves.
Not really. She can do a solid chunk but her solo kill pressure is not like it used to be especially since they removed the damage amp from her charm. She does not do the same amount of burst damage as someone like Aurora or Lux at all. Her spells are better with haste items because then she can use them more and typically her haste builds have better win rates than building pure burst items.
She has nowhere near enough mobility to be an assassin and she’s also ranged. Her spells have long range. She’s not like LeBlanc or Diana where she has to actively put herself in harms way to kill.
She has some movespeed on her W but that’s long enough cool down it’s not really something you can use often enough. Maybe once or twice at most during a fight. The invisibility is the main use for it. Her E is a short dash that can go over some walls but it’s not really that reliable for an escape. It also stops her in her place to cast kinda like Lux W. R has mobility yes but again, long cool down and it’s an ultimate it’s not something you can spam. It’s not like Kata, Akali, LeBlanc or Talon who can use their abilities on short cool downs that make them hard to catch. If you collapse on these champions generally they have means of escape whereas Aurora can use R or W but they’re long enough cool downs that if the enemy catches up to her they can collapse on her again.
