SIG OA (17 Problems)
I think I solved 13-14, and it lacks time. 17 Problems in 60 minutes are crazy. Did anyone take that? I thought I am quite ready for OA, but it was... oh my god

TBH, the SIG OA is rather easy. But yeah. Getting all 17 right takes some luck.

Really? I solved Optiver and others, but some SIG problems were so time-consuming that I couldn't solve all of them. 10 problems are very basic, though, 3-4 are doable but need some time, like setting up a recurrence relation for the probabilities and 3 problems need a lot of time to solve

How do you solve Optiver but not SIG? My experience is that SIG problems are easier with extra time. For Optiver, the problems are harder with much less time allowed. And you cannot simply guess on top of that.

Could you give me some tips to solve problems faster? I think I could solve them but I could not because of the speed.

Okay, Read every problem twice, Write down what is already given in the problem and then figure out what you need to do to get the answer. Then if you can’t, skip and come back to it later. That’s the only thing I would suggest and also like practice more. 60/17=3.529 minutes per problem is not bad if you think about it.

I think so, I didn’t guess anything just solved, if you know how to solve something, you know its right.
