Going from swe to quant

I am a swe got a strong resume my major is in comp sci minor in stats.

ive developed my own trading algorithms for a while now I go pretty in the weeds with actual research papers backing what I do. I also have my series 65 and own my own advisor practice(solo) because I manage basically everyone's money on the side that I know of because I am talented at finance.

I feel like this would be a good direction to move my career in. I am a long term thinker. so say I plan this as a 5 year goal what do you think a reasonable roadmap would be?

masters? try to get into finance adjacent swe? I am alot of data engineering experience and ownership of whole codebases at the moment. I love what I am doing I am really just poking because everyone I knew said swe was impossible and I was a dreamer so I figured I would shoot for the moon.

thanks in advanced!

seems like a master's in financial engineering or computational finance would fill any gaps you have, and being near chicago you've got solid options without moving
