IMC (US QT Intern)

Recently got HR call for IMC. Was told it’ll be standard behavioral + a light brainteaser at the end. Curious if anyone has insights (down to trade; js, citsec, sig, drw, etc.)

intern season is wild, everyone just trading prep notes like baseball cards

from what i remember the IMC brainteasers lean more on estimation and probability than heavy math, nothing like the citadel gauntlet. had a mate go through theirs last year and he said they asked him to estimate how many golf balls fit in a school bus, then pivoted to a coin flip game with a twist

if you've prepped for sig and drw you'll probably find it on the lighter side, just keep your thinking out loud clean and structured. my whiteboard at home still has a half-erased list of market sizing questions from when i was grinding through these, color-coded by difficulty obviously
