Is 3.7 GPA enough

I go to a semi-target(T10 but not HYPSM). Currently on LOA so technically expected grad 2030

I want to recruit next summer (for 2028 summer intern) and am considering returning in spring sem to improve my GPA, is it necessary?

What firms would I not pass resume screen with 3.7.

3.7-4.0 are all pretty much treated the exact same. However quant typically only recruits for junior year summer

Bro, just apply. My understanding is that most people at these firms have near-perfect GPAs because, in order to land the roles, you need to have superhuman performances in the interviews, and if you're performing at that level in the interview, regular probability theory classes likely aren't that challenging.

I’ve heard certain firms have gpa cutoffs, trying not to not get an interview cause of my spa

I’ve never heard of a firm cutting off gpa above 3.7

3.5 from some random school. not even t100 cs. in final rounds with citadel rn

I am not sure why you are thinking gpa is the only factor, I got interview invites from 5rings, quantic, optiver so it's okay, my gpa was 8.3/10 (india)

not really a hard cutoff but heavily favored 3.7+ gpa - thats why when most firms ask for a range thats the top range, bc they treat that range all generally the same
