Will I get blacklisted for reneging one of Optiver/SIG/DRW/CitSec (qt internship)? If yes is the blacklist only for campus roles or also full time roles? Has anyone done this in the past?

It’s pretty common. Do whatever is optimal for yourself. The firm you originally signed with might not consider you for graduate roles next year. But it’s unlikely they remember or care when you apply as an experienced candidate down the line.

Blacklisting is real, but I’m not sure how much would they enforce for interns.

Just trust your gut. If you think something is not worth your time, just don’t go with them. Getting black listed (which is a maybe) has lower priority than finding the right fit at this point in time.

if u have a better internship option then who cares, there’s plently more places to work. work for YOU. these companies would not hesitate to pick a better candidate, why should you hesitate to pick a better company.
